pigeon Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Ok, I have seen her yesterday in Munich for the first time and I have some notes. - Is KidCutUp her nephew or something? Because he is not good, he solely relies on classics to hype the audience. - The stage is not giving, I am sorry. The first half of the concert was during the sunlight, so it was more obvious that it wasn't the first tier. After sunset it was more acceptable as you couldn't see it properly. It looks like a upscaled arena stage and it is ******* disappointing because her tickets are very expensive. - The good sis has to interact less with the FOS audience since the majority of the audience is all over the stadium. - It wasn't sold out despite the heavy promotion and discounted tickets, she has to promote her music more because Trustfall (the song) has resonated a lot with the audience. - Did we really need two covers (three if we count Heartbreaker) in the setlist when she can pack more of her hits? - I have seen acrobatics first time live and it is incredibly impressive. She does this several nights in aweek while travelling constantly at 43. Mind-blowing. - The amount of lesbians and short-haired woman I have seen... Overall, I think it was on the meh side tbh but I am glad that I have experienced her live.

I know it sounds so negative but I was quite underwhelmed. I didn't like the costumes either and I think she relies on the backing track a lot but it could be just the shitty stadium acoustic. It doesn't matter what I think though, she is performing at the stadiums all over the world so more power to her. 3 hours ago, pinktennisfreak said: So, what is it? Both. Her tickets were expensive so I was expecting the stage to be more grand as I have seen it as an investition for the tour, then she discounted her tickets in the last weeks. Likely a year after the stage was designed.

pinktennisfreak Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I’m personally not amazed by big screens and some tech bullshit. I think that those things are forgettable and usually serve as a compensation for the lack of creativity or performing and vocal abilities.
Borsi Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 It's strange how different we hear things. I think her vocals are very powerful now (even more than the last tour). And yes, she doesn't use backing track. 1

Yep but this tour look like a festival version of beautiful trauma tour , just like the funhouse summer carnival tour. I hope she change her set in trustfall tour but i don't think she will do that with the date between her shows is too short .

I think with the scale of a tour like this, the staging and production could be improved. Honestly, I think just a bigger size would’ve made a significant difference!

They are releasing new limited view sections whenever the previous one sells out The demand in Koln is wild they just buy in a few days any ticket type her team try to sell Hope Eventim don't mess up this time. Back in 2019 the demand was this high as well and the show ended with "just" ~38.5k people. Even Beyoncé sold more tickets than this despite her stage swallowing a lot of the venue's capacity Edited July 8, 2023 by Pinksus
Pinksus Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 I think a third date in Koln would sell so much better than a second one in Hanover btw

It's also interesting that Hanover was chosen over Frankfurt. Hanover doesn't seem to be a common venue for international tours compared to Frankfurt (source: wikipedia so not sure lol).
