Braz Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I think she's performed Funhouse enough... Mostly I'd like more stuff from the earlier eras. There You Go, Don't Let Me Get Me, Family Portrait and Trouble would be cute. And Hate Me ofc. 2

But instead of completely changing the set, what would be 2-3 small changes that you would make to make show better without changing the overall concept? For me it would be: Blow Me -> Hate Me Kids in Love -> Our Song adding either Sober or U+Ur Hand as an additional song Ooh great additions! Hate Me should have been there from the get go. Our Song or Lost Cause would both be amazing! Just Like Fire should also be replaced by Sober or U&Ur Hand

Liafen Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Yes, JLF with Heartbreaker is this tour's legit HIGHLIGHT. Whew, they really did THAT 1
Hiphopper Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Tour of doing the impossible. She really is a superwoman.
Emil Larsen Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I spent over 1,500 USD on merch across 3 shows. I am addicted to supporting THE legend Alecia.

Emil Larsen Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 So she posted on Insta story about a stan that went to 80 shows. 1
Liafen Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 So all in all, Vienna (Night One with Diamond Circle, catwalk middle 2nd row; Night Two Lucky Dip, lower bowl sector where the standing area ends) - The experience being up close vs sitting is just incomparable. Of course, this is something to be expected but while 200€ got me one of my most immersive experiences in my life, the 160€ one (which I got for 50€) is just deadass robbery. The stage is too small to accomodate people so far back; the supposed value difference is nowhere near the 40€ between the two tickets. If the 160 is the 'true price', DC should easily cost 400-500ish with the added value of seeing her that up close. (And the queue wasn't horrid, people were nice, there wasn't any pushing, I could dance and jump in the second row... so yeah, apart from the logistics of calculated bathroom breaks I wouldn't even say it's that different re: comfort) - Stage: Up close, it looks great, though the production still leaves a lot to be desired. But it doesn't look that bad live. The lighting rigging is cool and makes up for much of the lack of props, innovative ideas and... well, effort they could've put in the production. This is all lost when sitting in the back, however. It looks way too small and there are only two songs (Perfect and JLF, oh and So What) where you actually feel that you're in a stadium show, because those are the only shows that utilize the lighting to its max capacity. It's definitely a downgrade from her last tours and one of the weakest, disappointing aspects of the show. - Setlist and direction: I think this was probably the one tour I've been to where I did not feel that they were thinking about directing a cohesive, and consistent experience. Starts off really great with the bangers, and for once, the intro is really great, but it sort of sits down in the middle/four third of the show and the second half is a bit all over the place. I had to laugh at her instant change from No Ordinary Love to Runaway. (And the former being the Sade version... so unnecessary, we were robbed of the true greatness of Y+M version.) - Weakest parts: definitely CMIS, that is a bore without Willow. No Ordinary Love, I've said it already. Unnecessary, boring and stalls the show. Last Call is so weirdly placed between NGNDA and So What, I would say that as the penultimate song of the setlist, it once again just stalls the show and gets the energy level way, way, way down. I wouldn't say JGMAR is a weakness, but considering that it's her biggest song, it just did not hit as good as back in '19. - Strongest parts: The beginning, she really came out with the punches. But the Perfect-JLF combo just puts everything to shame: energy level is insane, lights are all ON, and the Heartbreaker mix... truly, truly one of the best experiences where you actually feel that wow-factor, that feeling of stadium rock-energy. I remember saying to myself along the lines of 'now this is live music' lmao. Oh, and Turbulence, it is just gorgeous. So artistic, elegant and ethereal. - Interactions w/ crowd: Was funny to see how this differs between two nights. She was really, really, really talkative and interactive on the first night being dorky and such. I think this added a good 5-10 mins to the overall runtime, whereas, on the second night, she kept things short but was in a really good mood as well. Just talked maybe one tenth of the amount she did on Night One. (Guessed both songs, But We Lost It and Sober right.) Oh and the best part, we made eye contact a lot. (I was quite tall relative to the people around me hehe.) And I kinda almost made her laugh during NGNDA lol, at 0:17 here when I was laughing too hard because of the face she made screaming 'FIGHT'. She looked over me and you can hear her lose her breath for a bit - Singing: Impeccable, really. Outfits were cool, coreograph nothing too fancy but was fun. Her stage presence, energy level really stands out and reminded me of the reason I stan this woman. All in all, with all the faults in production and such, I had such a memorable time Night One maybe the best Pink show I've been to (TTAL, BTWTx2 and SCx2). I tried leaving my phone in my pocket and only made 3 short clips contrary to the VIPs who were filming the whole evening... So much better to experience it without staring on your phone. 3 2

That, to me, was angering... seeing that literally every shirt design is trash. Tour book was nice though so I got that; and the tote with the same design as the hoodie (which looked great, but was way too expensive considering I've spent 250€ already on tickets and then some more on travel and lodging )

Pinksus Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I think she'll better received by gen Alpha than the gen Z Pink confronts in a super frontal way a lot of things that gen-Z glorifies. It's hard to put her in a angle where she'll not been seen as cringe by them Meanwhile a lot of kids are growing up filled with memories of their parents sharing love for Pink and taking them to her concerts. I'm curious how this will turn out for her
