Every year they try to get her, but for whatever reason she refuses. The organizer of Rock in Rio Lisbon said P!nk was the artist she wanted the most for the 2024 Lisbon edition, but she gave a lame excuse to not play it. Something like not being able to adapt the structure to a festival (after doing multiple festivals 💀) Alazy strikes once again

Underdogs Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Dunedin 2017: 37k – $6.3M Dunedin 2024: 38k – $3.8M This is still so strange

She did, but only after refusing 2013, 2015 and 2017. She accepted in 2019 and it was the best concert from that edition and one of the best in Rock in Rio history. That's why the organizers are eager to get her to do it again and tried it for every single edition after that as well.

Borsi Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Was I too naive when I thought they would do some promo for the second US leg? Apparently (again)...

She books the most C-list festivals in the US and Europe but refuses RiR, Brazil hating ass.

It's common thing to lower the prices so you can fill more shows. Look at the first 2 Sydney shows what they grossed and then look at the 3rd show at a bigger stadium with almost the same capacity as the combined first two. Anyway her avg gross in Europe and also some in the USA are very high. I thought Beyonces Renaissance $135-145 avg price in Europe was high, but Pink having $140-170 avg is really mind blowing. Oceania could gross more but she wouldn't had the same amount of dates and audience so…I'm very impressed by her stats. Wish Gaga could had this more Rock Band touring approach where the artists doing a lot of shows and not at the same places as everyone 1

My theory is that she doesn't like to broadcast the concert and she did accept that one time only because they saw the backlash Drake got and because the tour was over.

Prices have to be lowered in order to attract a higher number of people. If anything, the 2017 boxscore is an anomaly. Even her Aussie shows in major cities have never had such a high average ticket price
