Wow that one episode completely killed my enjoyment of this season, they could have just had a final two, but instead they went back to a deeply hated and controversial twist and lost one of their most popular characters

 

At this point I don't plan on watching the finale, I'll just read an update on who won

SEASON SAVED OMFG. Liz winning was a beautiful ending, to what was becoming a very stale endgame. Her FTC performance was *chef's kiss*.

 

Also not including the first 2 seasons of the show, women have won Australian Survivor 5-3 times. Amazing. Survivor US should catch up to that stat.

 

And a unanimous win? Queen Deserved

Best outcome for this season, I’m still boycotting the finale for how dirty they did Shonee but at least this season ended on a high note and is in my top 3 favorite Survivor seasons of all time

Why were people calling this the best Ausvivor season of all time 

 

Apart from a couple of all time great tribals this season was terrible, I stopped watching after Shonee got the boot cause I got sick and tired of the George show. Good on Liz for winning, her (and to a lesser extent Simon) were the only entertaining ones left and she was one of the only people I liked. I really don't see myself watching a season of Australian Survivor ever again, the last couple of seasons have been awful

Just saw the premiere! It was decent and the boot was pretty satisfactory. The cast feels so so though with pretty much the same archetypes we've seen over and over again.

 

My early faves are Feras and the duo of Viola and Valerie! The new Liz and Shonee, I fear!

 

They need to cast more POC though because I really can't tell most of the white people apart.

100% agree it was top tier survivor! a Kirby v Feras final tribal would be an epic way to finish out this season (although the chances are slim)

This season is messy and amazing. I need a Valeria win. Ever since I saw her outfit on the first day, she had me forever.
