Literally the only reason so many people watched the premier was because of Ariana. She was in all the marketing and commercials before the airing. Then she was killed off in the first episode! They used her for promo.

This show is the definition of “the cast carried the show”.

 

The plot was thin but what made it great is the cast, wished it was an anthology series cause it felt the characters were written a one and done way.

Season one was objectively incredible. If they'd been able to maintain that level it'd be remembered as one of the greatest shows of its time, but Ryan is notorious for failing to flesh out concepts. It was never going to last with him at the helm.

I truly think S1 is already remembered as a staple in recent pop culture. I didn't watch S2, but Disney+ is gonna upload the whole show near Halloween here in Spain, so maybe it's a good time to do a rewatch

The first season was excellent but in typical Ryan Murphy fashion, it became **** afterwards.

 

Also, this was never a show that was going to fair well on broadcast tv. It should’ve gone to a streaming service.

Season 2 though... I'm gonna pass on that one.

Season 1 was SO great, and honestly a bit ahead of its time. The humor was pretty edgy for cable TV and the cast was great. The fact that it's still referenced so much on social media....they should really pretend season 2 didn't happen and bring it back to a streaming network.

i was so sad when this show was cancelled. it's a great tv show, season 2 is what let the show down. also all the random 1 month - 2 month breaks between episodes which really hurt it. it would've done better if it was released recently to streaming and without the long unexpected breaks between episodes.
