Da Vinci Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Tbh why even go see this movie when you can literally just play Mario Kart yourself and BE Mario/Peach etc. Or Legend Yoshi

My Neighbor Totoro is a kids movie with barely any plot and it's an all-timer so what's Mario's excuse Totoro, sweetie, I'm SO sorry, I'm so sorry that a ugly ass ***** like this would even say that, oh my god!
family.guy123 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Ah yes. Trusty old critics. They ALWAYS know what they’re talking about.
family.guy123 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Either way, celebrating or being upset at somebody else’s opinion of art is certainly interesting.
WildAmerican Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 ngl i chuckled at the RT consensus Quote While it's nowhere near as thrilling as turtle tipping your way to 128 lives, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a colorful -- albeit thinly plotted -- animated adventure that has about as many Nintendos as Nintendont's. Read critic reviews

Ab1818 Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 The movie is already predicted to do $125 million in the US and Canada and $225 worldwide for opening weekend. It’s fine. A lot of the reviewers have probably never played any of the recent Mario games (or any) and were expecting (or exaggerating) a movie with so many twists and turns and the deepest story.

mathekr Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 That pretty unfortunate, I was hoping this one would follow Detective Pikachu and Sonic's pretty good reviews. Guess I'll wait until it drops on streaming
Proseductice Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I think it still might do really well at the box office despite the scores/reviews. I've been asked so many times if I'm going to see it. Not this week alone, but months in advance. Time will tell, but I'm debating going for Jack Black.
Kylizzle Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 The amount of enraged fanboys on twitter People thinking having references to a believed IP automatically makes a movie good
G.U.Y. Gaga Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 This doesn’t have to be good to do well though can we stop casting Chris though

Not expecting a masterpiece or a great story (the moment I saw this was only 92 minutes long, I knew it could go anywhere), just visuals and having a good time. Edited April 5, 2023 by Roberto

Show the RT score with a much larger pool of varied critics.
