BIAATCH Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 What are the critics main complaints about this movie?

Its not hard to see what kids enjoy and pander to them, same way not hard pointing out when pandering failed/succeed.
50thStateofMind Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 still plan on seeing it...Iʻm here for the nostalgia

Might not be an oscar worthy movie, but I hope it's at least entertaining.

Frozen99 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 the movie looked cool, we found my bf's old nintendo and been playing super mario galaxy and mario kart and ofc i've loved it as a kid.. hm, i'll wait and see i guess. ******* pRatt
Khal Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 This movie getting acclaimed would have been the surprise, it was always going to be panned. The audience scores should be interesting.
Kylizzle Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 This being lower than every Minions and the first Boss Baby is killing me
Arcadius Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Not the panned reviews. Oh well, I’m still gonna see it not like I was expecting a masterpiece.
D/X Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Lmao what were y'all expecting? This is Illumination after all, **** ass scripts one after another. Nintendo should take the loss for collaborating with them. At least it looks nice.

Dark Phoenix Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I mean I’m not going to see this for the plot but mostly for the visuals, it will make a bank or at least $700M and guarantee a sequel but they will need to step up.
Poxy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Illumination is poison. I blame them. I remember when I first heard illumination was behind it, it was a steep uphill battle
Kylizzle Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 This is bad no matter how you spin it. It's not even top 10 for Illumination movies by score nnnn.
Everyperfectsummer Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) The audience wants a Zelda movie made by Studio Ghibli Edited April 4, 2023 by Everyperfectsummer

It's currently the SECOND LOWEST rated Illumination movie, omg . ALL ILLUMINATION MOVIES RANKED: https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/all-illumination-movies-ranked/
TheCal Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Maybe this will teach them not to cast Chr*s Pr*tt anymore
Kylizzle Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Just now, Broken said: It's currently the SECOND LOWEST rated Illumination movie, omg . ALL ILLUMINATION MOVIES RANKED: https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/all-illumination-movies-ranked/ But this thread told me EVERY Illumination movie is panned and this was par for the course
Miles. Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Oh no. Well, I'll still check it out, hopefully it's a pleasant surprise. I guess we should've known with Crisp Rat involved
