I could see this hitting $1B yeah, also I’m hoping that this kicks off a Smash Bros universe not only Mario, for a sequel they could put Daisy or Rosalina, Wario, Wailuigi but we want Kirby, Samus, Link. 
 

Pokémon ain’t happing since they’re doing the Dt. Pikachu movies at WB and Sonic (I know it’s from Sega) is on another corner so they have plenty to grab from Nintendo and other franchises.

 

I’m also not expecting a big plot or dialogue from this, there’s barely any dialogue or plot from the games so… I just need this to be entertaining and that’s it.

I want Toadette before any of those characters. My favorite characters are Luigi and Toadette, and I would love to see a sequel with them as the focal points. They seem to be the most overshadowed characters.

Mario's brand recognition is enough to make this a hit even if none of the cast are famous

Agreed, I hate how in general professional VAs are ignored by Hollywood though they’re amazing at what they do.
