Even though Barbie passed this, I don't see it matching the longevity of the Super Mario Bros Movie, which lasted in theaters from Easter to Labor Day. Barbie would have to still be in theaters during Christmas, and that's unlikely to happen.

I saw this for the first (and probably only) time last night and . Like both mine and my fiancé's expectations were average to begin with and we were both so disappointed. The script is terrible, the voice actor is mid, the story beats are rushed, and many things aren't faithful to the actual franchise. Also, so many of the Easter eggs felt like they were there just to be there. 3/10

 

Side note: Either I switched realities and/or am going insane because there's no way in hell this came out originally last April as in just 14 months ago. This movie is at least two years old.
