jakeisphat Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Since their debuts, they have each collaborated with several high-profile female artists: Beyonce - Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Lil' Kim, Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliiott, Nicki Minaj, Shakira Rihanna - Britney Spears, Drake, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Shakira Recently, Bey gave Rih a shoutout on her remix, but despite this and being closely related by their links to Jay-Z, the two have never collaborated in the 17 years since he signed Rihanna. Will we ever get a collaboration between the two?
Daydream Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 No. If it was gonna happen 10 years ago would have been the right time. The older they get the further apart their musical styles have grown. I can’t even imagine what it would sound like now.
Trent W Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I stan both and I’m not interested in hearing something like that. It would’ve looked try hard even 10 years ago when they were younger. I feel like they have such different and distinctive styles, it would be like merging 2 universes unnecessarily together and the final product would be a forced mess.

Their versatility has no bounds.
Johnny Jacobs Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I wish but I do think they don't really like each other to collab. I think they keep it cute cause of Jay z but that's it.

LosingHimWasBlue Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 (edited) Why they should collab? Rih couldn’t even write and sing well she can’t compete with Bey who can sing very well, and okay songwriter. maybe rih could be model for Bey’s MV. Oxy Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I don’t want that, for me it’s like two titans collaborating is corny.
kandicha Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 nope, think they’re just two very different people with very different personalities, talents and careers, and that’s okay.
Soda Pop Queen Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 this site would implode if they joined forces, especially if the song was some massive hit. What would msm and the pop world do if they couldn't pit the 2 most successful black female singers of the 21st century against one another? They're not supposed to support/like each other that much in their eyes. Just look at the comments LOL.
FightDragonsWithMe Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Beyoncé has no reason to collab with Rihanna Rihanna would bring nothing to a collab except be outsung/outperformed.
Pheromosa Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 i dont think their voices compliment each other at all
BGKC Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Only if it’s a Baby Boy meets Rude Boy type of bop. Bey’s harmonies over a Rihanna hook would also work wonders
trainsskyscrapers Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I'm not holding my breath (anymore) as both have had ample opportunities. Somehow I hear distinct parts of "All Up In Your Mind", "YONCE", "Black Parade", and "Radio" that Rih would've sounded perfect on, and vice-versa on "Cockiness (I Love It)", "Higher", "Hole In My Head", "Lemme Get That", and "Skin". Y'all remember this joint? Or this? I think our best bet moving forward is a one-off single from a movie soundtrack like Black Panther 2, or maybe the end credits for the new MCU Blade.
DenzxShe Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 well All Up In Your Mind sounds like a Rihject so maybe that kind of vibe would work

This ain't Daddy, Broken-hearted Girl, or Honesty. I think Radio is one of the catchiest non-singles in her career and should've been the record Gaga hopped on instead of Video Phone, and AUIYM is a bop that deserves a kooky music video.
