I really want to see. Does anyone know if the movie is heavily influenced by Dracula? I have been dying for a good adaptation for so long.

Pretty much, the director of the 1922 original didn't get the rights to Dracula, so he basically did his own version and tweaked a few things to make it different.

It looks like a little too American Horror Story for me. The original is such a classic. I hope they don't mess it up. :katie:

The original film is an unofficial adaption of the Dracula story. Bram Stoker's estate went after the production and it was ruled that all copies had to be destroyed. Thankfully, the film survived. Despite it being unofficial, many consider Nosferatu to be the definitional reading of the story.

Looks great :jonnycat:

Lily Rose is SERVING too. :jonnycat: Say what you want, but she managed to deliver a surprisingly good performance in The Idol despite the terrible material, so she clearly has potential.
