What’s wrong with that? Infamous people get name dropped all the time. Like jlo, Demi lovoto, etc

Oh my god, now that I'm watching the serie, who the f thought it would be a good idea to say something like "she eats your hear out like jeffrey dahmer"? :deadbanana2:

Yes I think the song should be removed from streaming :swan:

Yes! And the souls of his innocent victims went on to haunt both of their careers after Dark Hourse

Kesha did it first (and better) :michael:

Just like everyone else who heard the song, she probably just didn’t really think about it. I don't think I've ever heard any sort of controversy surrounding that line. People are just so desensitised to that stuff.

Also, if you're going to get mad at Katy and Juicy J for this, then you'll also need to get mad at Kesha and all of the other artists who have name dropped Dahmer, and all of those death metal bands who base their entire discography around serial killers and rapists.

Nope.
It wasn’t an issue when the song was released decades after Jeffery was sentenced & later killed. If you wasn’t offended by it then why are you now? Cause of some Netflix series? ok :toofunny3:

Why call out Katy when he's the one who came up with the verse? :rip: Either way it's nothing out of the ordinary for a rap verse, name dropping is common.

It’s her song. She approved it :rip: trash and so is Kesha.

Her fanbase who were young most likely wouldn’t have known about him. This show has put major attention on him again.

Yes. I've always hated that song for that very reason.

It's Katy Perry's song. She had to approve Juicy J's verse before it was released. He could have said whatever he wanted and mentioned whoever he wanted in his verse but if Katy deemed it unacceptable she could have refused to include it or demanded amendments. That's how it works.

He's a horror rapper, stuff like this is common in that genre. Don't really care at all.

oh here’s the real motive for this thread :lakitu:

No. Katy grew up ultra Christian. We all know that religion keeps their worshipers uninformed and uneducated. Katy can probably barely spell or do simple maths, what makes you think she knows who Jeffrey Dahmer is?
