It was sent to R&B radio before Pop

It reached #1 on Urban AC in early February 2014, didnt get to #1 on Pop till late April

This.

When I think pure R&B, MJP, Keyshia Cole, Jhene Aiko, K Michelle etc.

I only see a few, not sure what you're talking about

The obvious oddball ones like Peaches are here for obvious reasons:rip: He got his lil "R&B" song

Dont, Talk, Yeah, Best Part, Leave The Door Open, No Guidance, September, Aint No Mountain High Enough, and Location arent R&B to you:rip:

Earned It, Call Out My Name & The Hills are the very few popular The Weeknd R&B songs he has. Earned It won Best R&B performance at the Grammys.

Starboy is more on The Poppy side though

That's What I Like won Best R&B performance at the Grammys as well (which you should be happy since it would have Get You by Daniel Caesar instead, since you be hatin on him. Choose your battles:fan:

Not you not including Earth, Wind and Fire:skull:

I mean it's a universal song, but I wouldn't label it Pop. It's Funk/Soul lol

Is Yeah not Crunk&B?

And Aint No Mountain High Enough charted better initially on the R&B charts than Hot 100:fan:

All of these songs are R&B, I don’t know what y’all talking about. R&B is not just limited to slow jams…
