Posted September 24, 2022 Share Posted September 24, 2022 (edited) I'm starting to think LGBTQ+ people will have to start creating and supporting alternative networks of education regarding our history and lives (plenty of them exist already, but they need more support and outreach). This measure was just about teaching positive LGBTQ+ history in the same way that it is taught about other historically disadvantaged groups so it's become clear that these homophobes consider teaching about civil and legal milestones as "indoctrination," because apparently no one can learn about us as human beings who have been fighting for our lives and our rights for centuries. dabunique Posted September 28, 2022 Share Posted September 28, 2022 (edited) After da don’t say gay bill passed they had to reverse and ban da month. i wish Miami Dade had a bigger backbone but totally understand dat with Ron will replace any elected official who doesn’t follow da laws he has forced down on da state especially if u r a democrat take in point he replaced four school board members in parkland over their response to da school shooting.
