Oxy Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Nothing shocking since there are people who disagree and different ideologies.
FightForTanas Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 I mean the state did pass a Dont Say Gay bill recently.

Yet by that same logic why should a select few school board members get to decide something for a district full of thousands of children and parents It’s not an “ideology” to refuse to recognize LGBTQ+ month, that is weaponized homophobia subjected onto youth.
Eric. Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 (edited) I'm starting to think LGBTQ+ people will have to start creating and supporting alternative networks of education regarding our history and lives (plenty of them exist already, but they need more support and outreach). This measure was just about teaching positive LGBTQ+ history in the same way that it is taught about other historically disadvantaged groups so it's become clear that these homophobes consider teaching about civil and legal milestones as "indoctrination," because apparently no one can learn about us as human beings who have been fighting for our lives and our rights for centuries. dabunique Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 (edited) After da don’t say gay bill passed they had to reverse and ban da month. i wish Miami Dade had a bigger backbone but totally understand dat with Ron will replace any elected official who doesn’t follow da laws he has forced down on da state especially if u r a democrat take in point he replaced four school board members in parkland over their response to da school shooting. When he only took out da democrats and left republicans and put more republicans on da board everyone ind a state saw what he was doing Edited September 28, 2022 by dabunique
