Ireland has BEEN dealing with them. Catholicism dropped 6 points last census and we’ll see another big drop in the 2022 results.

Catholicism OUT

Good luck with all the Catholibans that moved from Croatia to Ireland. But that's now an Ireland and not a Croatia problem.

Croatia is honestly one of the few foreign countries I'd gladly move to. Istria or one of the islands especially, whew!

It's beautiful but you literally can't live here. The only people that can normally survive here are the ones that lived in worked in the West and now have high pensions.

My grandfather's US pension was 3 times the amount of the minimum wage here.

That's why half of Slavonija left for Ireland or Germany

I am one of those that moved OUT-OUT, but I love miss Croatia for a holiday! :hippo:

I wanted to leave this shithole on multiple occasions but never had the courage to do so.

At least I'm living by the sea.

Poverty. Just like in Colombia. People do anything for money.

Croatia is a sugar-coated third world country. Tourism helped at first but it will ruin us in the long run if whole industry is based on it. :monkey:

I think this is the case with most of Europe. Spain in 30 years is going to serve empty :rip:

That's not true. It's the country with the most immigration in europe at the moment outside of refugees.

Almost 10M of the population are over 65 years old (close to the 20% of an average of 45M people) and in the upcoming years the generation of the "baby boom" are going to be considered elderly as well. We are arguably one of the most "old" countries in the world demographicaly speaking.

Also I'm pretty sure Spain is the country of the EU in which young people leave the latests their homes because of the stupid rent and living prizes, plus the natality is minimal because many people can't afford to have a child let alone more than one (the only ones keeping it a bit afloat are immigrants and even the influx of migrants has decreased over the years, certainly not as significant as it was in the early 2000s). The population is going to shrink a lot in the coming decades that's for sure

Good, the rest of Europe is declining too. Great for the Earth with less people.

That's not true! A population plateau or a slow decline would be sustainable but the impeding crash is gonna be a disaster. It's all the green fanatics that have made people feel guilty for having children and I think that's disgusting. And I mean, I care for the environment but we won't have a future anyway if everyone stops having kids.
