est. in 90s Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 The deluxe made me revisit the album again and it's just as immaculate as it was when I first heard it. Prodigal Self, Preservation, Pearl Driver and Supersoaker remain top tier

Saddy Posted August 23, 2023 Author Posted August 23, 2023 Her new album Powders launches September 20 Here's her official video for her first single
Saddy Posted September 19, 2023 Author Posted September 19, 2023 The last part of this song is so good
Saddy Posted September 20, 2023 Author Posted September 20, 2023 Powders - Songs rating Sugarcane Switch - 5/10 This song is not bad but definitely not my fave, but who knows, maybe it will grow on me... Crushing - 9/10 I didn't expect to hear a slow aka Silent Hill/Enigma style song. Definitely adding it to my playlist Face in the Moon - 8/10 Another Silent Hill/Enigma style song, not complaining tho, but Crushing has something unique idk Clean Break - 8/10 Another beautiful slow song but the rhythm tho, it's so perfect Chop Suey - 9/10 I didn't like it at all at first, but after a few repeat listens I fell in love with the song, especially the ending. It's pure magic and emotions Heels Over Head - 8.5/10 I kinda love it, there's something melancholic about it and I can see myself dancing to this song in a nightclub Mona Lisa Moan - 7/10 Cute song but I think it's missing something... idk maybe it's just me, but the title tho Pure Smile Snake Venom - 7.5/10 "Phoenix had a raw sex with Irisiri and it came up with this," someone said it on lastfm and it's exactly how it feels. Once again I can see myself dancing to this song in a nightclub Salt of the Earth - H2ome - 8.5/10 Okay, this one is definitely beautiful and magical. Reminds me of the Diamond In The Bedrock, maybe when she was making this song she got inspired by it. Perfect song for my depressed ass It's a good album, not her best work but not bad either. It's literally baby of Phoenix and Irisiri - cute and beautiful and I think this is perfect for listening to at night while driving or even when you're alone at home cuz I feel it'll make you feel something special at night rather than during the day. If you want get into Eartheater I'd recommend you start with this album as the slow but good start
Club classic Posted March 23 Posted March 23 my friend has been recommending her for a lot of time now, I finally gave in and listened to Powders. It's mindblowing, such a beautiful piece of work. I found out she's performing in Primavera this year so I'll see her live! 1

masochizm Posted May 28 Posted May 28 i've always casually listened but this past year i've delved deeper and deeper and i'm absolutely obsessed with her… trinity might be one if my favourite albums… 0 skips
HonourableVomit Posted August 28 Posted August 28 it frustrates me that she's not bigger, like only 2 reviews on AOTY for Powders is UNACCEPTABLE I saw her live on Monday (she's a **** for not coming on stage until 10.20pm on a Monday night) and absolutely devoured, some of the best live vocals I've ever heard and so many songs went all the way off. Don't make me wait You got me wet come OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ver 1
