Finally saw it...  absolutely SPECTACULAR  definitely one of the greatest feel good movies I've ever seen.

Timothee's charisma is contagious, and the rest of the cast is complete perfection!

Wish they promoted it more

could have gotten Harry styles , Ed Sheeran or nial horsn

Saw it with my parents. They were obsessed with it. I enjoyed it a lot too. It's a good film to watch on Christmas Eve because it evokes that magical feeling.

Really cute on the whole. Visually stunning,  great numbers,  and Timothee makes a charming Wonka. Pacing of the movie went along well.

I’m very shocked to see the praise for Chalamet. His performance was noticeably exaggerated and “quirky”. His vocal performances were fine and quite literally just that. Very clear Chalamet was not asked to audition for this role. 

 

It’s a shame, however, as literally everything else worked. Supporting cast were spectacular, the story was adorable, and they were trying to homage Wilder’s Wonka as tastefully as possible.

Just saw this with my dad and boyfriend.

 

It was a lot of fun! The ending felt rushed and predictable. But the first half of the film really special. Great direction and sets looked fantastic 

 

Chalamet did well. It’s a very demanding role and he was trying really hard to get it right. He was a little inconsistent, but overall it was a decent performance. This movie is going to do so much for his career

This is surprisingly movie of the year for me.

The way they didnt advertise it as a musical took me by surprise when theres a lot of numbers and unlike most people, i love love musical, this is hands down the best musical since La la land.

 

The set is brilliant. Timothy is really that girl, his face is made for silver screen. The supporting cast also very strong. 

 

Funny and whimsical. Dont expect to love this as much.

True. I think it’ll have good legs regardless in January since there aren’t that many new big movies. And maybe an Oscar boost too.
