Weld_E Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 Visually the movie looks so appealing but having resting dead face Timothy Chalamat play young Woka is a huge miscast. He does not have the charisma nor does he evoke the illuminating cookiness that Wonka is suppose to have. 1
illia Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 The trailer looks great and I think it might become a new Christmas classic Timothee's acting though... Great face beautiful face
WEEKND Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Daddy Grant looking all kind of delicious in this tbh
Bosque Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Although early reactions should always be taken with a lot of salt, this movie is getting absolute raves from the premiere
James_Dean Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 The Chalamet praise I just know some must be fuming

publikcitizen Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 it'll probably do well at the box office. it seems like a family crowd type of film.
Gabers05 Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Planning to see this with a group of friends next week. Hoping I enjoy it, the trailer was okay. But nice to see it's getting positive reviews.
Haschwalth Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 aurkay critical acclaim i might go see it tomorrow
vale9001 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 What are the Golden globes names in comedy - musical actor this season? Chalamet is getting very good reviews. Wouldn't be crazy to say, especially if the movie became a big success at the box office, he could win (?). Probably Giamatti is the only very competition. From what I heard The colour purple is strongest for the female performances.

Wonka is from an acclaimed director and it's a very well received movie. It's true in the last years they want to be like more and more "the anticipation" of oscars so giamatti there is in the oscar conversations is more favourite but It's not near to 0 like you Say, especially if the movie dominates the month before the cerimony.

The Madonna win was in a biopic and it was a completely different time when they had less voters Taron was in the Oscar race, playing Elton and he didn’t have as strong competition. Timothee is playing…Willy Wonka and is not in the Oscar race, so yes he has absolutely 0 chance at winning the Golden Globe as they like to predict Oscars. 2
