GivingCher Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 I have no idea why I'm genuinely excited for this. Timmy's power
mystery Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 This will be a huge holiday hit for families mark my words.
James_Dean Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 IT LOOKS SO GOOD Finally Timmy gets to use his comedic skills
Lovett Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 This looks amazing. It's going to be a huge family hit, without a doubt.
Feanor Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Come on budget. This looks very well-made and is perfectly suited for Christmas. If WB markets this right, and assuming the reviews are good (it's Paul King after all), this could be a huge hit during the holidays.
alanmontes Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 “How do you like it? Dark? White? Nutty? Absolutely insane?” This looks so good!
Memoirs387 Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 This looks like a fun Xmas movie for families but idk, it just didn’t do what I thought it was going to do. I’ll see it for sure. But something just felt off, I can’t place it.
Poxy Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 The poster is an eyesore. Anyway, not feeling TC either
suneclipse121 Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 I'm not sold on this. Probably gonna need another trailer. I'm iffy on TC playing Wonka. His performance looks kinda dry. 1
genetic fail Posted July 11, 2023 Author Posted July 11, 2023 It looks like they’re going for a more family-friendly Wonka instead of the murderous nightmare-fuel version from the first two movies and I’m okay with that.

Yeah I think a lot of people miss that the over-the-top nature of Willy Wonka is actually a kind of manic rage This is supposed to be a more optimistic version of the character, so I see why they went for whimsy instead of mania.
