I don't get scared often but this looks absolutely terrifying and disturbing.

It looks better than you'd think given it has Ryan Murphy's name on it, but I'll wait for reviews on this one. :emofish:

this has to be terrible if netflix didn't promote it in advance and sent it to die in a wednesday release.

I was thinking the same thing, but hoping for Evan's sake that it actually surprises in terms of quality at least

Hm this is kinda true. Has any promo been done at all?

I know Blonde is coming out on Friday too so maybe that's the reason why they didn't want a release on that day?

that sign is that the trailer was released like a week ago? they always release their trailers a month prior

Isn't this like the 4th Hollywood adaptation of Dahmer's story in the last few years? :skull: Why the obsession?

Yeah, they've done quite a few (Ross Lynch's one wasn't bad though!) same with Ted Bundy

Honestly the more I think about this, the less I am interested. It kinda just seems like torture porn, which is fine if it’s something made up like Saw, but knowing this was reality… I don’t know if I need to see that.

finished ep1 and this is great so far. the long scene of Jeff targeting Tracy was so intense - and was surprisingly not even done in an overly sexual or violent way, it’s more about the sinister atmosphere

On the first episode as well and not yet too hooked. It’s a little slow but the dreading atmosphere is there. Interesting way to start the season though.

I'll give this a watch since it's being showcased more so from the victims perspective but I really wish these white serial killers would stop getting movies/tv shows made about them. In some cases, like Dahmer, it's several different productions created or inspired by them just a few years apart.

Next, they'll be making movies about infamous school shooters. If they haven't already. Though I'm sure there are some movie scripts sitting in the rough drafts.

On the second episode and this is too slow for me :doc:

Ok I watched the first episode and I honestly think that was enough for me. It was nothing too crazy but I feel like you're just anticipating to get to all the things you don't want to see.
