Just like Azerbaijan attacked Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh in the midst of a global pandemic in 2020, they’re now taking advantage of the situation of the war in Ukraine to launch a war against Armenia proper. All enabled by the EU.

Azerbaijan is just another miserable dictatorship with shrinking energy resorces, meaning spineless Europe will close two eyes on it as long as they need their gas. I wanted to barf when Italy signed a deal with them. Scum government.

These are the animals Armenians are dealing with. The whole conflict has never been about disputed territories/Nagorno-Karabakh (which has always had an Armenia majority and was never part of an independent Azerbaijan anyway.) Azerbaijan is invading/attacking Armenia proper. This is 1915 all over again, Azerbaijan wants to complete the Armenian Genocide.

For Israel, Azerbaijan is a useful ally, they have oil and they have purchased 17 percent of Israel’s arms exports from 2016-2021.

They also have a rather useful border with Iran, which is too bad for the people of Armenia. This is the same thing that the US has done for decades, selling advanced weapons to countries ruled by dictators with terrible human rights records, because they have a strategic location or strategic resources.

That's because Russia has cut them off, seeing that they are a competitor in the energy markets. They also have little control over the régime running Azerbaijan, as they have an actual working economy, unlike the states that still cling to Russia.
