Did Britney just body shame Christina's dancers?

What the **** is wrong with her? :biblio: She's showing more an more what an a-hole she's been all along.  Why would she go out of her way to call out another singer's background dancers like that?

Britney is truly something else. Xtina will remain living her life unbothered.

I'm sorry but there's not way to defend this, she's mentioning Xtina way too much it's concerning.

People thinking the quote is meant as body shaming probably don't realize Rodney Dangerfield was a fat comedian who often made jokes about being heavier and ugly in comparison to conventionally attractive men.  The quote is Rodney making a joke out of his own fatness.

She clearly has kept up with Christina as a peer and compares herself to her but it's clear as well that it's probably better not to because there's so much animosity between fan bases that Xtina's fan base will read this as somehow an attack on Christina or her dancers and not Britney saying outright she is jealous and resentful that so many of her peers got freedom to do what she wanted to do. Xtina gets hot bulky men and Britney feels that's something she also wanted but instead had tiny female dancers cast for her because her dad knew it made her insecure.

Basically Britney is going to post things all celebs think - they compare themselves to one another - but she doesn't realize the public perception will always be a celeb mentioning another celeb in comparison and whom they've had beef with will always be taken as a slight or negative.

Ok, Britney!!

It's very weird to bring up Xtina like this.

Drag me if you want but this woman has severe issues. NO a conservatorship is not necessary. What's necessary is therapy and deleting social media.

Absolutely agree. she's not the sweetheart the gp thinks she is and soon she's gonna come for someone bigger and get cancelled

The GP doesn’t think she’s a sweetheart, she got a lot of hate from them and she really isn’t on the GP’s mind anymore

It’s her stans that would lead you to believe she’s a saint

This is really disrespectful. Really immature. She's taken this to a very new low. Her fans are celebrating her #6 hit, while she celebrates hating Christina Aguilera, yet again.

Imagine being so futile like this. Attacking Xtina’s dancers for free. Xtina and her dancers are a loyal and happy family that are together since always. I know Britney don’t know what this mean, but it’s not Xtina’s fault.

Seems like Britney is showing her true colors now, but of course ShE HaS AlL tHe RiGhT tO oFfEnD eVeRyOnE bEcAuSe ShE iS tHe ViCtiM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 AnD Of CoUrSe It’S XtInA’s FaUlT bEcAuSe 2000!!!!!11111”

It’s odd that she mentions Christina, perhaps Britney still thinks Christina is her competition. We must remember the conservatorship started in 2008 which is the same year Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton finished and demolished Xtina’s mainstream career.

Britney is not aware of how things have changed during the past 13 years.

She's always going to compare herself to Xtina because they knew each other since they were like 11. They were friends together on the Mickey Mouse Show, got signed around the same time, debuted around the same time, would see each other at every award show and TRL and such, would take about each other in the media, did the VMA performance....they are ying and yang, attached at the hip. Of course, Britney being the bigger star, she rarely if ever gets asked about Xtina in interviews, whereas Xtina gets asked about Britney in pretty much every single interview. Xtina is probably quite annoyed yet also knows it's something that keeps her relevant in a way. When people think of Britney they are more likely to think of her as well, since for millennials they were THE pop stars of the early 2000s. It was always "Britney and Christina".

It doesn't matter if Xtina has been flopping since Obama was elected. In her mind she's still her main contemporary and peer, alongside Beyonce and P!nk.

What’s the difference between Britney and Nicki on social media at this point.

She was wrong to post this. Her own body image issues and the anger she has for Jamie ruling over every choice she should have been able to make should ONLY go to him. Not her boys who haven't been able to process the type of abuse she endured for them. Not her dancers, who worked hard alongside her/adored her and don't deserve to go on social media and see that their former boss hated their "tiny bodies" and would've picked others if she could.

And certainly not Christina's dancers, who would see this and the fat quote...knowing that they would only be picked to dance for Britney because they're bigger and would make her look as tiny as she wants.

There's a LOT she needs to work out in her therapy sessions, and it's going to take her entire life to ever feel any progress if at all, (Absolutely f*ck you Jamie Spears). One of those things needs to be self love though, because making her body dysmorphia everyone elses' problem is not cute. Eventually you have to look at yourself and think "okay, what can I do to feel better about my self image?" and I hope she realizes this.

I love her, but nah on this one.

Not Britney fans coming for Christina fans by telling them she's irrelevant and that Britney is on top of the charts; only for Britney to talk about X yet again, and bring her up, on social media for the 28377th time, in a very derogatory manner. The obsession is REAL.
