People are holding her accountable. Being an adult means you are free to say and do whatever you want, but you also need to face the consequences of your actions. In terms of her comment regarding Xtina, sure, she can be held accountable for that and she should be. But my comment was in regards to fighters sharing content from YouTubers who have made money off of videos they uploaded to YouTube where they talk about how Britney Spears doesn’t deserve the same basic human rights as everyone else. It’s one thing to hold Britney accountable. It’s another to promote people who have not only profited off of her pain, but STILL feel the need to profit off of her while suggesting she shouldn’t have bodily autonomy or basic human rights.

Did you ACTUALLY watch Shallon Lester's video? She NEVER said that Britney doesn't deserve basic human rights (GTFO with that straw man argument). She said that just because she suffered, it doesn't give her the right to attack other people. She was particularly upset at Britney for attacking her OWN children who had nothing to do with the conservatorship, and fans giving her carte blanche to do whatever she wants without consequences. She also called out the hypocrisy of people being offended by Britney fat shaming Xtina and her dancers and not saying anything when she attacked her own kids (something that, again, really upset Shallon). You can disagree with her opinion, but don't distort it into something it was not.

Both Shallon and Cinema Shogun from April 2019 (and onwards) have made videos about how she shouldn’t get out of her cship and continue to obsess over her every move. Nothing they post is coming from a place of actual concern. It’s about profiting off her situation and they know videos about Britney are going to get them plenty of views. I’m not going back and forth with a Christina Aguilera stan who’s never going to say anything positive about Britney anyway. It’s fine to agree that Britney shouldn’t mention her kids or other celebrities in her social media posts. But Shallon, in particular, tried to drive home the narrative that Britney should’ve remained in her cship.

They're still clinging to receipts from the Stripped era about Xtina being "shady" when she was just being truthful. At least what we got from this mess is Britney saying that she's inspired by Xtina, something the Army denied for so long. The long list of countless artists that Christina Aguilera has inspired continues to grow.

We must remember the conservatorship started in 2008 which is the same year Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton finished and demolished Xtina's mainstream career. Britney is not aware of how things have changed during the past 13 years. A hater will always be a hater., 1
