Did Britney just body shame Christina's dancers?

She seems really nasty, bitter and toxic. She's acting as if she still lives in the early 2000s at the height of when the media was stirring up the rivalry between her and Xtina.

Xtina on the other hand, has clearly moved on and grown up since then, and has been really classy and mature. It's funny how people used to think Xtina was the bitchy diva and Britney was the sweetheart before social media was a thing, but now it's clear that it's the exact opposite.

All of this :clap3:

Multiple things can be true.

1. This post was not worded appropriately, and it does not show Britney in the best light

2. This post does not mean Britney needs to be cancelled and called "mental", "crazy", "hateful" and needs to be put away and shouldn't be speaking when she wants.

It's obvious Britney is venting all her feelings lately, and while some may not be healthy or appropriate, this is how she chooses to do it. If you take this post at face value, yes it comes off as "fat shaming", but if you know the context in relation to her previous posts you will know that Britney is extremely insecure about her own body and had issues with not being able to pick her own dancers (among everything else in her life) and she felt targeted because all her dancers were tiny and she was called fat everyday from her father. The christina comment was not really appropriate but she said it. She wants to be unfiltered and this is it. She's going to make mistakes.

Everyone on here making this a bigger deal than it is needs to go outside.

This is a woman dealing with her own demons and she's not going to do it how everyone wants her to do it.

I see comments on this forum daily that are disgusting and offensive and you all have the audacity to come in this thread and pretend like you are so morally superior. :clown:

Britney ain't perfect ya'll.. and you're acting like she's beating her children or something or shooting up heroin... it's getting weird for ya'll :biblio: the outrage over this woman never ceases to amaze me.

The fact that Christina could go the Gaga route right now and use this to promote herself by playing victim but decides to not respond just speak volumes on the person she is.

my admiraron for her it’s just bigger than ever.

Well it's been less than 24 hours. Give it a few days. :sistrens:

Not sure why Gaga is randomly name dropped in this thread but I’m so glad Gaga and Christina Aguilera are able to move on from their petty past and behave like the mature grown women they truly are

you love bringing this up yet love to leave out the fact that this was a girl in her early 20s going through a divorce and many other things while this ******* pap almost got her into an accident that put her life in danger for a damn picture while invading her privacy. I don’t necessarily agree with her choice of words but it was a reaction cause by what he did. Also, she was concerned for his health

i'm sorry but this took me out :deadbanana2:

She needs therapy ASAP. It starts  bit by bit but then it gets too late. The symptoms are bad.

I know about mental health problems and it's truly painful. Wishing her the best

Britney needs someone who can help her navigate her public image.

"The public" destroyed her once with glee and cheers, they will do it again if she gives them the chance. It seems some people (and herself) believe that she needs no assistance when that was never the problem, the problem was she wasn't getting the CORRECT assistance she needs.

This right here.

I agree, Britney does need help and probably always did. A conservatorship wasn't the answer and only did more harm than good. She really needs to do some intense therapy, take a break from social media for a while, and focus on getting well. Unfortunately, if she keeps this up I only see her situation getting worse, not better.

I'm disappointed in her.

I really don't think she meant to be offensive, but tbh I don't really think she's that nice of a person either, so...

I’m just confused why she named Xtina. She could’ve gotten her point across without mentioning anyone.

EW reached out to a representative for Aguilera, who had no comment on Spears' post.

I love that X continues to take the high road, but at least share a photo with your dancers on Insta cause why not...

Britney Spears is the definition of a stupid *****.

It's a shitty point no matter what. "I want my dancers plus size so i can look skinny"

Props to Xtina as a person because if she commented anything, it would add more fuel to the fire and if woke people see this- brits gonna need some heavy PR and time off the internet which she'll most likely refuse, both of those.

Yeah, it could've been anyone why she chose Xtina, I mean she could have mentioned other artists get bigger dancers so they look smaller whitout naming anyone, she got weird here.

She should've just said "I wish I could've chosen my dancers, I wish I could've chosen the nannies etc..." and that would've been way better.

I’m just now seeing this. I don’t understand what she’s trying to say. Clearly she’s angry over what she’s been through. I see a lot of these weird posts as her venting.

Im glad Xtina is ignoring this weirdo. Keep it classy and mature X, and give us that third EP already :)

the gorls suddenly care about fatshaming. i better not see any one of you in a "debuts new body" thread :bird:

OT: She did not fat shame anyone, you fools. She was saying she felt fat next to her tiny female dancers, and that she would have felt more comfortable being around dancers that were larger in physical stature than her.

Where are Christina's fat dancers anyway? Lol

Yawn. Britney has been free for nearly a year and the "b-but she was in a conservatorship for over a decade" excuse no longer holds up. A court decided that she should enjoy the rights of an adult as she should - you can't excuse her like she still needs a conservatorship, which she doesn't. Hold her accountable as the (dumb and tone-deaf) adult she is. :cm:

She’s so annoying and needs to get over herself, Xtina  doesn’t owe her **** yet she was still one of the first (and only) pop girls to publicly speak out about free Britney before Gaga, Selena and Madonna.

Between this fatshaming and her previous racially charged comment about weed it’s clear she’s not as nice as people think she is, and the goodwill she’s amassed will continue to dwindle if she keeps this up.

She needs to get off social media and talk to a therapist about her problems and clear jealousy of Xtina.

!!! I feel for her but she’s super problematic and Christina has shown so much maturity over her one sided attacks on SM

No comment on her racially charged comments but no shock considering she calls Paris a friend and is fine being around racists like joffree slur
