SMILE was actually a decent album. But no one took it seriously because of the ridiculous imagery and awful single choices. Bring back smart career decisions Katy pls.

I would see her if I had the chance, no doubts about that, but then again I'm a pop music stan, idk how the regular folks feel.

 

She needs to get it together if she wants to tour properly(arenas and festivals).

She needs to drop the whole teenage dream act/persona. The whole childish colors/imagery doesn’t work for her anymore. She needs to go back to something like prism or one of the boys personas.

She's aging beautifully, excited for new music. Now that the pressure of making a comeback is off her shoulders, I think there's a chance she does something a little more off-brand for her next LP, and I'm excited for that.

 

I'll agree with the others here, I had a poor perception of Smile when it came out but I think a lot of the tracks have aged really well and had it not been for the horrible aesthetic + Small Talk I think the album could've done decently for her with a 2019 release.

Her current imagery is 10x more childish than TD era. In reality, only TD music video was kiddy.

Pop divas are over so it's not her fault. And her artistry came and went with OOTB.

That’s how I feel, she has it in her to deliver her ROL but she has to take her time and not think we want another TD just bc TD was so perfect
