It doesn't feel real. Just feels like she's still in her palace hanging out with her cogis sipping some tea in some pastel outfit.

I get what you mean. It's hard to think that just a couple of weeks ago she was working and now she's in a tomb. It will take some time to sink in.

It's going to be so real when on Christmas Day its the Kings Speech

And when notes and coins with Charles enter circulation

Is she god? No. Let this thread rest for gods sake.

She has her own stone. It's the stone against the wall

A picture released from Buckingham Palace reveals that the fresh stone now contains, in list form, 'George VI 1895-1952' and 'Elizabeth 1900-2002' followed by a metal Garter Star, and then 'Elizabeth II 1926-2022' and 'Philip 1921-2021'

It’s so weird seeing this, I was at Windsor Castle last December taking the tour and one of the guides mentioned when it does happen, she would be laid to rest there with her family. That was before Phillips death.

You want to let it rest yet you still bring it up? Confusing behaviour. Don't ever tell people how to mourn someone.

The first King Charles III coins have been revealed. The first ones will be the 50p piece and the £5 crown, which will enter circulation very soon.

Not bad actually, better than I was expecting.

We're getting £5 coins? :rip: No thanks. Tbh, I can't remember the last time I used cash.

Glad she's resting in peace now.

Can the media finally leave Meghan alone!

Damn it’s already been 1 year since Queen Elizabeth passed away. It barely feels like it :deadbanana4:

Did the royal family do something to commemorate the anniversary? Like a memorial?

This is what I could find about the 1 year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II… Seems like the royals had a gathering to pay tribute to her

Hope it helps :)

For some reason, I remembered the date as 22 Sep and not 08 Sep.

I was reading an article and it said that King Charles had a relatively good first year, considering that Prince Harry's memoir did not really cast him in a bad light and Charles kind of weathered through it.

60+% in the UK still support the monarchy, though support among the young was around 30%.
