she refused to redistribute her stolen £30 billion fortune (courtesy of British taxpayers) to help her own starving people who have to rely on food banks.

she held onto stolen art and jewels from former colonies worth billions if £ despite those countries struggling during multiple financial crises

Why do y’all keep bringing up jewels like? They’re not feeding anyone or improving anyone’s life measurably. If the monarchy gave the JeWeLs!! back to the countries from which they were stolen (a good idea), they’d just be in glass cases in India or Egypt instead of in glass cases in England. No one is feeling that wealth, no one who’s hungry in India will benefit from emeralds getting flown in.,Like it’s nice and all and should be done on principal but the “plundered wealth” argument is the most naive one to make, since jewels and art are the most irrelevant reparations one could ask for. As for the $30B fortune, well, who has the power to dissolve the monarchy and its assets? Did Liz? Does Charles today? Or Parliament? Bring it to a vote or something. But Miss Liz couldn’t just donate it all away even if she had waken up one day in a charitable mood. :rip:

The hard-hitting reporting we need exposing the real truth the regime will hide. :clap3:

Certain people in this thread need to educate themselves on the difference between an absolute monarchy and a constitutional monarchy, y'all are showing yourself up. :coffee2:

Both are dictators dummy. QE2 was also unelected and hereditary — exactly like Kim Jong il

As to the war crimes, she (not her ancestors) began to commit it swiftly — just six months into her throne half a million were dead.

I know you just didn't call me a dummy then press on and call a constitutional monarch over a democracy a dictator. She literally could not DICTATE (which is in the name if you didn't notice) anything pertaining to government beyond tradition when asked.

She's not Henry VIII. :deadbanana2:It's the 21st century.

Oh, is that why literally no one likes her?

And at least the people will get a day off since the queen's funeral is on a Monday?

I can't speak to why everyone dislikes her. But regarding the tweet, it is actually a lot more common for PMs to get in without a general election. In fact, Gordon Brown, Theresa May and Boris Johnson got in without a general election. Only Tony Blair and David Cameron got in via general elections this century.

Wow. :jonny5: I wonder how many people will watch her funeral. Maybe the same amount, around 30m?

I can see this happening, I'm curious to know what the figures will be like worldwide?

This is something I come across quite often, A lot of people don’t realise we don’t vote for the PM directly but the party.

Don't get me started on this. We NEVER vote for a prime minister. This narrative needs to stop.

That's actually not true for British voters at all. They're voting for a person. Who just happens to be affiliated with a party, which just happens to have a leader, who then becomes PM.

Over 33 Million People in U.K. Watched Queen Elizabeth II’s Death Announced Live on Television

Just for perspective, the population of the country is between 66-70 million people.

That headline is pretty misleading. 33 million people watched the main channels between midday and 2am and saw the news.

Nah, the jewels should go to the origin countries. How those countries handle them is another story. The most important thing is to stop the royals from continuously benefitting from anything they have stolen and plundered from those colonised countries/territories. :swan:
