Queen Elizabeth II laid to rest: 1926-2022

Honestly, hope she doesn't die the country can't afford a long bank holiday/coronation right now or any more uncertainty. I am also expecting a brand change from Charles he will pivot and can choose any of these names Charles, Philip, Arthur and George. And, with the BBC in funeral attire and she isn't dead yet it seems likely, funny that she meets the closest thing to an anti-monarchist Prime Minister and is gravely ill.

very ironic after Liz's old speech

Hence why I mentioned it. We're all doomed

OT: I hope she manages to recover

Yeah, I think this is it. She lived through so much, and saw the world change drastically. Some of our grandparents were prob born during her reign, it's going to be weird living in a world without her.

It will be very weird for sure. Especially because Charles will now be king :rip: If William were inheriting the throne it would be less weird, people respect him much more and he's much more likeable. He feels more kingly. But Charles and that ho Camilla :rip:

All the reporters on BBC News are dressed all in black (literally part of their "Operation London Bridge" - aka, when the Queen dies - strategy), and the BBC have postponed their schedule until at least 6pm.

Prince Charles doesn’t deserve to be King. Hope she pulls through!

They really need to keep making more seasons of the Crown, I can only image the drama that can be produced from her death/post-death, especially following the Harry drama :eatpopcorn:

Omg my dumb ass thought you were talking about Harry Styles at first and I was like “what does the queen have to do with don’t worry darling and Harry’s spit?” But my brain finally caught up to speed. :rip:

inb4 Harry Stan’s force Harry to be crowned king of England as soon as they see the opportunity.

They must have inside info that this is really it and they're giving her her last rites, painkillers etc. No way they'd dress in funeral attire if it was just a bad cold.
