So now the process starts of changing the UK's currency. So many bank notes and coins out there with her face on it.

 

I'll probably be keeping one or two notes/coins, just as a piece of history.

In America sure, but worldwide I don't think so simply because she was Queen for SO long and lived through so many Prime Ministers and Presidents.

Finding this speech from Liz Truss very disrespectful. She can barely get through her lines without constantly looking down and reading off her paper. She should be addressing us all with eye contact and a heartfelt speech rather than this wooden mess.

Yeah. And all postage stamps will be changed too. The process will probably take a couple of years to gradually phase out the old money and replace it with Charles' face.

 

But yeah it does seem pointless and Charles obviously won't live as long so it'll end up getting changed again in another 10-20 years.

I definitely get it. The Queen has been a constant in our lives for so long. It feels strange for change to happen. It was going to happen anyway but it was so sudden considering her appearance two days ago with the new PM. I expected her to live until she was 100 like her mom.
