I think it's sad that she didn't outlive her mother. The Queen Mother lived to 101, so she had a longer life than both her daughters - Margaret who died at 71 and now presumably Elizabeth who has died at 96.

 

It's also a shame she didn't out-reign Louis XIV of France. She had less than 2 years to go.

She's obviously dead/dying. I'm not a big fan of the monarchy but i do like and have respect for the Queen especially after watching The Crown, and being British she's been such a part of mine and my parents' lifetimes that it will be sad when it's officially announced.
