What is this fake woke BS. You can be against imperialism and still mourn the Queen who is not an active political figure, just a face for the family. She didn't decide to invade 90% of the world and certainly can't make any meaningful social/economic decisions on behalf of country to resolve that.

Bezoz/Musk have actual power.

she's the head of state, how is she an active political figure??? hello?

she did decide to honour and exploit the institution, the right thing to do would be to give up the throne and lobby for democracy, which she did not do. so she's complicit in propping up an unjust system built on slavery and colonialism.

she also has a lot if soft power and influence and has often lobbied the parliament. stop acting like she's a powerless puppet, she isn't. she's also very rich, the money she unfairly received from her queen status. Musk and Bezos at least had to run their companies at some point, she was just born. so she could be even worse than them when you think about it.

is she going to be cremated or buried

She will be buried in the King George VI memorial chapel in Windsor.

Prince Philip’s coffin is currently interred in a different vault, however when the Queen is buried, Prince Philip’s coffin will be moved to where the Queen is so they will be in the same resting place.

Maybe she didn't want to be in the same room as her pedo son who was racist to her, or maybe the family doesn't even want her there

hmmm im not criticizing meghan. whatever she does its on her and her only. but she knows damn well that she will be a scapegoat for the british media and her mental health will go bonkers depending on how ruthless they will be

Catherine is Kate Middleton (Duchess of Cambridge), Kate is her nickname and she's Prince William's wife.

Yeah, he's gotten really somber. It's such a sharp change and borderline uncomfortable.

They've arrived at Balmoral. Most likely an official announcement at 6pm BST, right?

Speaking from a global perspective pre-social media and before the internet really took off in the early 2000s, respectfully, they aren't comparable.

Diana was bigger than the UK, the Royals or Hollywood just prior to her death, at that time when there were global crises but not at the same level as now to distract many.

Not a fan of the Queen but Elizabeth II's impact shouldn't be compared as it's for mostly longevity from a very different time culturally.

I’m glad some of yall also clocked the change in tone in the reporters voice… I noticed it too straight away. I think maybe he heard some news in his earpiece.

Not really, because Diana's death was far more sudden and at the age of only 36.

And even with how popular the Queen is to many in the UK, Diana was more popular and beloved, and her power kinda eclipsed the rest of the royal family.
