Lover Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Holed up in Burbank, LA for several months with Madonna in 1997, the pair recorded her critically acclaimed album Ray of Light, and got to know one another pretty intimately - he even once walked in on her using the toilet. Reuniting to record together for the singer’s 2012 MDNA album proved difficult when the pair had a falling out over “technical issues”. “I was drinking too much and I said stupid things,” admits William, candidly, who went on to undergo a psychotic breakdown he is equally as candid about. “I don’t know where we stand.” William wasn’t called to take part in her remix album Finally Enough Love, released last week. But he expects to hear from her - as soon as she wants something. “Her sister Melanie, who I adore, told me: ‘If you know anything about M, she doesn’t have a sense of sentimentality. “‘Nobody hears from her for yonks. Family members don’t hear for yonks. Then, of course, she wants something from you or she’s working with you, you’re hearing from her every 10 minutes.’ “She’s not really somebody that looks back. I could get a call tomorrow, you know? relatable legend William Orbit is launching his new album The Painter

charmed23 Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Ray of Light the entire album. All Saints' best tracks: Pure Shores, Black Coffee, Dreams. Pink's Feel Good Time. => his production is stunning. Though I was so hyped for Britney's Alien, but that song...

Teen Idle Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I love Madonna's work but there's no doubt she's high on the narcissistic spectrum

I admire how manipulative she is and how can easy influencing people can't have a word to say. And ofc William Orbit got mad at her cause the all album was remotely recorded. William had a vision and Madonna just needed an album...

But she wouldn't be who she is without it. But also she has done a lot of charity and I doubt it was all for show. I would love be her therapist.
FreeXone Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I had a brief conversation with Swae Lee some months ago. He was working on a new project with Madonna. He said she will STRESS YOU TF OUT and spazz (is spazz still a bad word? I’m just quoting his words) but I believe it. Mother is a tough cookie !

She can probably be really difficult to have in your life, but her drive and creativity are immense, and her philanthropy is genuine. It’s why I don’t want her to direct her own movie because only a third-person perspective can really capture her narcissistic and cruel side, but ironically also why we won’t get a movie without her making it.

Yes to all, and in the end she has enough self control to get through all this years and still be alive. Unlike most of her peers, she didn't fall into drug for example. This is not a shade, but the truth.

Yeah, I think she NEEDED to be like that back in her time, because we tend to forget how were the things for women in the 70´s and 80´s. And she broke so many barriers for women in the industry...People take everything for guarantee nowadays....
Oktober Knight Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Remember he said she was not into her work like she previously was while recording MDNA. With him producing something with her being absent or distracted is stressful enough. We all know she hates working with drug/alcohol users so it's no surprise that she dropped him. I hope they work together again someday.
John Slayne Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 'Madonna is a narcissist because she doesn't regularly text William Orbit' you guys sound ridiculous this is a woman with 6 kids and one of the most prolific careers of all time - between her music, movies, tours, charity work, all of which she's heavily involved in too. she's closely worked with thousands of people at this point, do you think she has time to keep in touch with all of them? hell i'm struggling to keep in touch with my old friends and i'm single and childless. can't imagine how busy you must be when you are madonna

That`s why she survived so many years. And very talented. A lot, just look on her body of work, she worked harder than anybody else.
