greeneyedsoul Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Well, it doesn't get that cold in the winter here.

Don't get me wrong, but both Russia and U.S. (their governments, not people) are benefiting from the war. Would you like to try again? Anyway, I'm sure some of the users on this forum will argue that we should let Russia continue to murder Ukrainian civilians in exchange for cheap gas, but luckliy the EU has taken a clear stance against that extremist position.

The war could've been prevented, but that was not in American nor Russian interests. Have you seen the contract personally? Why it hasn't been published? Exactly. European leaders have fallen in a trap, but you are not ready for this discussion.

And that is going to have a huge impact in the US this winter. Prices are already up over 130% vs 2021. Consumer are in for a big shock in the coming months as their energy bills come in, and shatter the White House lies about the recession that has pretty much already started.

carameldisco Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 The pro russian posts I am seeing here That's what we get for depending on Ruzzia instead of focusing on green energy alternatives.
Chemist Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Europe had the opportunity to invest in renewables/clean energy way earlier but got too comfy with cheap Russian gas. You truly reap what you sow I fear
Zoe_ Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Well, instead of blaming US, Europeans need to drag their weak a***s to Russia and take the oil from them.
Illuminati Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I think it's very interesting that even the tankies recognize that Russia is clearly lying about this and that this is a "deserved" retaliation and not some turbine issue. But they fail to see that this is just a glimpse into the general playbook of Russia and how it's been lying about nearly everything The rest of propaganda must be true
Protocol Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 This is a result of Washington continuing to think it's 1975 and that they still rule the world, and Europe being spineless. I'm so sorry for Ukraine but there was no reason for Western Europe to destroy its standard of living for a war that has nothing to do with them.

Fiirst of all, you are not sorry, don't pretend you are. Have you watched Russian tv? No? Well, there are plenty of videos posted on twitter. Russian politicians openly discussing who is next:"a nuclear bomb to London? No problemo. Poland next? Sure, why not, but let's first get the Baltic states. All of them are just a bunch of Nazis. Speaking of, why not going all the way to Berlin? Hell, yeah. Let's make it like in the good ol' days. While we're at it, Finland is Russia, too and Gotland should not belong to Sweden anyways." All live, all during prime-time. Enticing, huh? Some of you are SO incredibly dense and ignorant, that there is nothing left to say, but nevermind, I will keep doing the Lord's work til all of you FINALLY get it, regardless: Ukraine was just a test. The goal was a new world order with Russia dictating their demands and taking land from others as they please. Edited September 7, 2022 by ontherocks

I can’t believe some people in Western Europe actually think this. The entitlement is… astonishing.
Jan Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Oh, and this is absolutely good news. Since talking about becoming less dependent on Russian gas didn’t work and Germany kept buying it anyway, Russia cutting off the gas supply will force them to import it from elsewhere.

You must be the most horrible person I've seen in this forum, from the MonkeyPox thread to this, selfish, entitled, sociopath behavior tbh

VicHugo Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Europe will adapt. I hope South American countries start buying more Russian goods, they're cheaper than Western products and Russians are much more reliable.

Now we're seeing protests in Germany and the Czech Republic against the changing economic circumstances as a result of this war. I agree that tying oneself to the US so unconditionally is not a good look. In GER's case, however, Miss Merkel actually blocked green energy investments and cut the sector by 2/3 during her reign (2005 - 2021). Imagine those 16 years with a competent government who diversified energy supplies and invested in green tech?!!! However, we will survive.

Putin can only "win" in Ukraine with nuclear weapons (so it seems from recent reports) and with the prospect of India and China siding with Russia... a full on confrontation with NATO seems 100% assured. The Russian GP could prevent all of that from happening. However, at least 50% of the Russian GP wouldn't mind nuclear destruction.

Way more Nazis are fighting for Russia. Extreme right wing parties and activists from Russia have openly been calling for Russians to join the army. Isn't it funny that Russian extreme right wingers who have zero issues with Nazism are trying to bribe others to fight in another country that should be de-nazified? Make it make sense.
