Before Today Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Have you ever been snitched on or seen your coworker be unjustly treated, discriminated against, passive aggressive at work? What's your stories?
PMKARDASHIAN Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I worked in nursing so I saw nothing but backstabbing and betrayal. Nurses are so two faced and immature it’s like perpetual sophomore year of high school. But, I did get fired one time, and I turned around and called the head of my health network and told her my director of nursing (who was married) was ******* her male staff and the administrator (whom fired me) was a racist homophobic dried up raisin We all ended up getting fired, but I’d be damned if I was just me for no reason ?? But as a result I’m black listed from that health network
Oxy Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 My classmate told my professor that I cheat my exams cause I’m 10x better than him. So I got banned from spring semester without any sustainable proof and even when I’m found innocent they didn’t give me back my grades. Now he graduated and I’m in limbo.

brazil Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I work in big law. I recently changed law firms, and this other lawyer is in the same position as me and right when I joined she left on maternity leave (here in Brazil maternity leave lasts for is for about 5 months). When she came back I found out she never wanted me to join the firm and told our boss that (because i might get in the way of her career plans) then i found out that she talk **** about me to other lawyers including our boss. She apparently has been working really hard on getting me fired. Everything was great until she got back. And I'm usually really easy to get along with, I have close friends from all the places I've worked in and even in this last job I get along with everyone minus this girl

My coworker failed their probation even though their performance was alright but the manager felt like "this functiom isn't your passion" She told my coworker to work from home, but in reality the rest of the team worked from office and they had a farewell party without my friend and another guy. Weird.
Nazareth Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) A few years back, I worked at this PR Agency, and after the first month it was nothing but hell for me. Co-workers in my team were talking about me, and I found out from another co-worker who let it slip as a joke. After I confronted the team, they all started acting weird and I noticed a change in the air. Then it got worse when they started muttering things under their breaths and at 17 years old I just couldn’t handle it. I had so much anxiety and it truly felt like I was walking into hell, everyday. I was eventually “released” by the company despite my good work. Now, I’m winning in life and they all be stalking my LinkedIn every damn week. Obsessed! 1 hour ago, Oxy said: My classmate told my professor that I cheat my exams cause I’m 10x better than him. Archetype Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 My coworker asked to see my portfolio and then used one of my projects to join a project with *my* client (without my awareness), eventually joined *my* team, suspiciously got away with doing absolutely zero work for three months, and then started to use *my* client work and presented it as her own to get a f**king promotion. I confronted her about everything and she refused to acknowledge or apologize for anything that she did, so I reported her to the head of our studio and they did NOTHING. Still got her promotion, but she did leave my client so I at least don't work with her anymore. Really the only time in my entire life that someone actually made me angry.

Uhhhh you can't accept that, threaten to take them to court unless they give you your grades back.

The stalking part is really deranged and petty... some people are mentally ill. I'd just block those ppl tbh.
venuss Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) I'm an archaeologist. I work at a Cultural Heritage Institute since December last year when I got recommended for a project in a cemetery, which I would manage (like a contractor). However, the people at the institute read my resumé and wanted me instead for a full position with them. I had no idea until January that the project went to someone else. When I got hired I told (dm) a friend of my mine, who I considered my best friend back then. We graduated together and also were coworkers during our first job like 4 years ago. He was livid because according to him that job was meant for him (the project) and became very angry. I tried to tell him that maybe it was a different project or there was a mix up. He wasn't happy even thought he's doing his master's and is employed as a teacher assistant. In January I got a report about the digging that was happening at the cemetery. Apparently there were some irregularities and I went to check. Keep in mind that the person that noted that there was something wrong with the work the archaeologists were doing was an architect from my institute, who also hired the people that were doing the project. So I went and indeed there was some stuff that wasn't only wrong but they were actually mishandling archaeological heritage (aka they doing the ******* digging wrong and the poor skeletons were mishandled). I told them and they got furious. Then I did a report and they got even more angry. That's when I noted that my so called friend was part of the team, as the person in charge of the skeletons (but he wasn't doing any field labor) and basically the responsible for all the stuff that was done wrong. He, however, wasn't the project manager. Just a consultant working for a firm. Anyways, I became friends with the junior archaeologist that was doing part of the digging. I told her I was friends with this dude and stuff. Then she told me (with screenshots) that he was saying that I only made that report because we had a relationship (with he apparently ended) and that I was bitter and stuff. When she was telling me that, I was talking to him (dm) because he reached out to talk and was saying that he missed me so much. Mind you that dude is ugly as **** and I would rather **** a decomposing rat rather that be near his dusty cobb web filled hole that nobody wants to ****. I've rejected his advancements before so I really got angry and I flat out ignored him after that. Since then he's been trying (like a LOT) to reach out to me and I have been avoiding every meeting with him or the firm that hired him (I told the supervisor and my coworker about the situation so I've in charge of other stuff). Flashforward two weeks ago there was another meeting that I was supposed to attend because my supervisor quit, but my coworker went instead. This dude asked for me like 6 different times and my coworkers told me he looked/sounded super desperate. Anyways, that's further proof of how an attention seeking rat he is. I always avoided the red flags about it friendship because I met his family and they were super sweet and welcoming, but he always was very competitive and desperate for affection (he's never had a boyfriend and he's used to rejection even for sex). Suffer, rat! Edited September 6, 2022 by venuss Edit

JoeAg Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I worked at a hotel from around march to june this year and I swear to god my coworkers/superiors were honestly really sketchy in hindsight. they would profile people heavily and wouldn't rent rooms out to people who "seemed" homeless. whenever I worked alone at the front desk, I tried to never judge people on appearance. in addition to this, my boss's ex-husband was the husband of my coworker. and that man is technically the owner of the hotel. it was just so awkward watching my boss interact with my coworker...
mellenthin Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 I worked at a dementia ward for a summer. I found out that one of the nurses had developed a relationship with one of the patients and regularly sneaked into the patient's room during work hours and locked the door. She stayed in there for hours at a time. One time a nurse walked into "their" room and found them doing it. Everyone at the work place knew about this and had known about it for years (I only worked there for the summer), but no one was doing anything about it - even HR. It was just an accepted fact. Mind you, the patient was completely demented and had no sense of reality. As a summer intern there wasn't much I could do about it, even though I told HR about it and asked them why they weren't doing anything about it and just got a nonsensical answer. Literally DEATH to all of them.

katara Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 (edited) One idiot colleague complained about me to the CEOs of our company because I didn't help out enough in some tasks that aren't even my obligation but I just did them whenever I had time to kill off. It backfired on him badly though since I don't help him out at all anymore since it's not in my job description so he ended up losing all the help he had. Not to mention that I don't speak to him anymore and I was one of the last allies he had in our company. Worms for brains. Edited September 6, 2022 by katara
