Riot Posted September 4, 2022 Share Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) After last night's Creative Emmy Awards ceremony, former Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Adele and Eminem won their first Primetime Emmy Award, putting them one step closer to the EGOT status, since all of them are already Oscar and Grammy winners. It will depend on her involvement. There are jukebox musicals about Tina, Cher, MJ, Donna, Carole, etc. But I don't believe any of them was involved (some of them for obvious reasons), so they didn't get a Tony to their names. Interesting how neither of their TV specials or Superbowl shows got them wins, but Adele, Mary, Kendrick, and company got it done this year.
