In that scenario, weak sales and strong streams first week would make sense. If you dislike an album you wouldn't buy it, but to dislike it you have to hear it, which would give you a reason to stream it.

There are many ways to listen to music without streaming it legally.

Eh

After 3 years they only saw a decrease of 30k units

They still have some hardcore...but I guess it's a case of certain genres not moving towards the streaming side just yet

The fact that you need to sell 1k to be top 10 :skull:

Good numbers for Linkin Park. Imagine if they didn't go pop

Eminem is the king of rap. Not Kendrick. Quit playing.

You don't have to sell anything to be Top 10. Epic AF compilation has 0 sales, and is charting solely on streams. Same as Chance the Rapper's streaming only mixtape that made Top 10 last year.

LP managing to sell close to 100K pure with the backlash they have gotten is really impressive. I haven't bought an LP album since Minutes to Midnight. but good on them.

Didn't even notice LP released an album.

Stream before you buy, the new try before you buy.

It's literally the same as every other Rap album

Migos (Quality Control) 28-32k, 1-3k

Post Malone (Republic) 28-32k, 1-3k

Logic (Def Jam) 27-30k, 5-7k

Future (FREEBANDZ/Epic) 24-27k, 1-2k

Future (FREEBANDZ/Epic) 24-27k, 1-2k

Playboi Carti (AWGE/Interscope) 18-21k, <1k

The #1 this week is also doing 20% sales, and yet y'all still are for some reason having selective focus on Drake

Rascal Flatts debuting with the same sales as ZBB's 2nd week.

Yet Big Machine still wants to act like they did not flop at all.:ahh:
