#8 most watched on Netflix of all time. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is getting a sequel, although I hope she doesn’t accept it. Want her to focus on better projects.

Sequel would flop, there is a reason The Unforgivable didn't get a sequel either and it's a similar film. It's a "one and done" kind of film. She should focud on getting more movie roles, hopefully diverse genres so she can expand her versatility. I would love to see J.Lo in a horror streaming movie. It would be so new and different for her! If the script od good, of course!

There should not be any sequel! Mama really made a hit with it. I was sure this movie was gonna do well but I keep thinking that if only Marry Me was released on Netflix it could have been so bigger and helped the OST more. Can't wait for Atlas now. :duca:

I agree with you 100%. They shouldn’t create a sequel but the script was actually set up to become a film franchise if the first movie did well :rip:

I want something new and different with acclaim for her as well. This was a step in the right direction and I think it being a huge hit, along with Shotgun Wedding/Marry Me/Hustlers will set her up nicely in film for the next few years. It has shown studios she, at 53yo, can still pull in audiences.

Next up is a sci-fi thriller for Netflix called Atlas, in which we will see her try to take down an AI soldier that wants to end humanity. Couldn’t have come at a better time with the AI craze!

And currently filming Unstoppable with the team behind Air.

No need for a sequel !

Now Atlas, Unstoppable, The Godmother !

And then she can do some other projects.

I agree! But considering how much of a hit this is for Netflix, and it was originally written with franchise potential, I am afraid we may get The Mother 2.

OT: Today new streaming numbers are available. This moved up from the #8 most watched Netflix movie of all time towards #6!! :clap3:

This is great for J.Lo... The movie was good, but nothing spectacular.

Watched this last night, she killed it :clap3: I also watched Enough for the first time right after, JLo’s a good actress and OJLH’s will just have to deal with it.

I finally watched it and it wasn't bad. Much better than Enough, which was just awful (writing-wise).
