Say it with ME!: Terminally Unsatisfied

I agree, the fandom became absolutely unbearable recently. The vitriol used to be limited to the unhinged and embarrassing twitter swifties, but it seems to have seeped into every online community now. We have people constantly complaining about her commercial and critical performance, constantly seeking outside validation, constantly clamouring for more releases, constantly being jealous of other artists, acting like her releasing a pop album with an electronic production means a point of no return when she released two folk albums with organic instrumentations barely two years ago... I honestly want her to start flopping or to take a very long break so that the noxious stans can be weeded out .

anyways this was definitely the best week to release the video of LH. I really don't understand what Republic is doing, i hope next week is the week, cause i don't know why they're waiting february at this point.

Worst news from all of this is  this era clearly will have only another single and it's over.

I feel like LH will be tied to valentine's day

Yeah this is the thing about her having massive success. She’s always been huge and was building back up to a repeak and she got that, and you’d think Swifties would be more than content and hold it over everyone’s heads (as we should). Meanwhile no, they’re just melting down bc the album didn’t do enough of this or that or the single didn’t do what they wanted, even though she smashed every conceivable record and is still slaying on every front :rip:

I truly don’t know what they want. Whenever she reaches a new peak they become more insecure and spoiled to where it’s meltdown central as soon as she relinquishes the #1 spot or the album falls 2% on streaming. People just begged for a song that spent two weeks at #1 and didn’t plummet, and now Anti-Hero just spent its 8th week at #1 and is predicted to still be #3 in its 13th week. But it’s not enough anymore apparently :toofunny3:

Also the album may be unlucky on BB200 but it’s moved more units in 3 months than most of us thought it would do in its first year, even those of us who thought she’d smash… you’d absolutely never know that based on how people act.

Well they replaced Anti Hero with Lavender Haze on the top Apple playlists so I think they’re starting to push now. Maybe the video will come Friday or closer to V-Day but there’s no reason to tie it in to that. Drop it this week...

These kind of things are totally useless. A love song video on st. valentine's day...who are gonna notice the fact, who cares,,it's not gonna be biggest because of that. It would be a totally pointless strategy, it's not even a friday

This. The Midnights era is her biggest (by far) since 1989 (her career peak) but somehow that is not enough.

Even the slightest decreases lead to huge meltdowns about how she is over or whatever, and this is exhausting.

No but like they generally release valentines day merch and offers like 10 days before actual valentine's day and I can see them releasing the video then and having some merch for it.

The way the album is gonna cross 6m units in the US this year which is ******* crazy in the streaming era to achieve and there'll be someone saying but but but it had only 1 #1 song :rip:

this is how midnights is performing on apple music today 3 months after its release.

This is a Gp smashing streaming album. The fact people goes behind a tweet by someone on stan twitter saying a thing and the contrary of it between 2 tweets, and you can read it for every artists cause everyone has antis, is obnoxious. Some people should Get a brain and follow only what is the real narrative in the real and official media and not making thread about "is toxic by britney a forgotten song?" cause they read on a comment on a pop base post about dua lipa going at the supermarket some troll with 37 followers writing this.

And Midnights is even her biggest album in plenty of countries (it’s out-performing 1989 and by default all her other albums in literally all of Europe, Oceania, Latin America and so on)… It’ll never catch 1989 due to the time, pure sales and US advantage, but the results are really insane.

She’s checked the boxes of becoming a global force outside of just large overall discography streams and is now smashing album charts around the globe with a specific album in her discography. She’s also charting numerous albums around the globe, even in lots of European countries. And lbr if the tour goes to a lot of countries or even just continents she doesn’t go to often, she’ll get even bigger. This is exactly what all of us wanted, so I can barely believe my eyes over some of the stuff I’m reading on here and twitter :deadbanana2:

It’ll be at least at around 13M units globally by end of year too :deadbanana:

Swifties let delusional fans who can’t grasp more important levels of success get into their heads and convince them these earth-shatteringly massive achievements are somehow less impressive than a song doing slightly better than Anti-Hero in some random countries on Spotify :rip:

Midnights is #1 in Australia, but Taylor also charts 5 additional albums in the Top 50

#20 Lover (-2)

#22 1989 (-2)

#24 Reputation (+7)

#34 folklore (-7)

#50 Red (Taylor's Version) (+3)

I hope they milk The Eras Tour in Australia because damn :deadbanana4:

This thread would serve High By the Beach plummeting down the chart after Billboard’s audit. My impact :dies:

More like LWYMMD’s pop radio bullet :sistrens:

What is the prediction for Uk albums chart today?

with 6 weeks it would tie Harry's House for the most #1 weeks this decade.

 30 5 weeks

Sour 5 weeks

Future nostalgia 4 weeks

equals 4 weeks

folklore 3 weeks

We get it, Midnights is a global smash. But where is Speak Now TV?

Can’t she announce it months ahead like Red TV? I’m so HYPED! :jonnycat:

girlies, for those of you who have added Hits Different to your libraries - where did you place it in the track list?

On AM I just added it (and the two remixes) at the end of the album, but actually I feel like if HD was actually on the album it would more likely end up between the Midnights and 3am tracks (so between Mastermind and TGW). It was technically included as a bonus on the “standard” album, and Dear Reader makes a much better closer, so I’ve been debating moving it and shifting the other tracks down…

I have my own playlist of rearranging the track list for her albums. Her track listing are terrible since Lover. :deadbanana:

She fixed it on 1989 after the tragic track list placements on Speak Now and Red.
