Probably, they don’t exist at this point. She would’ve at least capitalized on the holidays by dropping CDs for the 3AM editions before the vinyls are ready, if they were coming. Since she didn’t, I am starting to doubt.

Part of me thinks SNTV is gonna be announced really soon and she'll want the focus on its vinyl and cds before she's busy all summer on your. :giraffe:

I really hope she releases 3am physicals. I understand vinyls take months, so does anyone think she’s waiting for them to be made before she announces them? Or do they just not exist :psyduck:

I feel like the 3am physicals could keep the album at number one a lot longer than limited edition digital versions

Depending on when the 3am tracks are ready and able to be pressed. If they were only done in the weeks leading up to the release then the records wouldn't be done until around when the tour starts. She'd probably already have another re-recording out by then so it wouldn't be wise to do that. If 3am vinyl versions were to ever be released I'd think they'd be a 1 year anniversary type of event.

Yep that’s what I think too. I keep thinking about March 3rd for the release date because it adds up to 13 and about two weeks before tour seems like a good time frame :hippo:

Midnights is going to be a vinyl staple and will continue to sell well through the entire year, and even 2024 most likely. Not to mention the streams which will continue being great and get boosts whenever she tours + any possible viral tracks, future singles/hits/etc to carry it. While I’d love her to milk Midnights, it would probably make more sense for her to focus on Speak Now & 1989 TVs instead of 3 AM physicals. She could always release those for the one year anniversary.

It’s probably like hits different and streaming services have the exclusivity for some time.

Also people acting like it’s not an impressive  achievement to sell 30 K copies in 12 hours and the fact that SZA team tried to fight back with the same tactic but it won’t even sell 5% of 30 K.

Sorry for bringing up the topic again, but the only reason why people hate this kind of tactics is because they know Taylor can pull them successfully. They use "she blocked Rihanna" as one of their drags in the "she is racist" agenda (lmao) but what happened that week was exactly the opposite. Rihanna had a weaker song and she bloated the numbers with an instrumental, 9 (!!) music videos and two alternative digital covers. Taylor didn't cry or sent someone to Twitter to say how despicable that was, she released an instrumental, put up a fight and let's see who wins. SZA also released digital versions yesterday and that's great, she wants to play, but the tears and the weird accusations from fans are just sore loser behaviour. You don't have to care about charts, but if you do, why do you expect artists not to compete? Absurd.

The hate for Taylor is really, really insane. People expend so much of their personal energy on her just because she’s amazing at her job. I’m on this site less and less every day because of it :shakeno:

These clips aren't even new, she literally pulled them from an iHeartradio "interview" during release week.

The thing is all the essays/ATRL threads don’t matter.

It’s the music business. Taylor and her label clearly love making profit and being on top. That’s what happens when you are both passionate about your art and your business.

It all tracks when you make money (no matter how much) and also have a dream you want to achieve (no matter how big or small). Things like this start meaning a lot.

I've been thinking that this forum and stan twt would root for even H1tl3r if he rose from the grave and released an album/song that could end Taylor's chart dominance. They just want her to lose by any means necessary.

It’ll be easier to cope when she’s actually on tour and there’s a distraction but right now with her not doing anything for the era other than releasing things we can buy every couple of weeks it’s kind of hard to ignore the tidal wave of hatred she gets online. :rip: But yes I know in the real world it’s not a big deal and she’s going to earn so much goodwill this year from the tour and Speak Now TV.

Yeah 100%

There was only a small gap and she probably outdone it by 20 K or more

Hopefully next week too, I love seeing all these stans hiding behind SZA to drag Taylor

Let them cope with the fact they have someone new to hide behind. I can't blame them tho I would too if my actual real fave was a complete irrelevant fad :gaycat6:

the bigger the star the bigger the target, they love seeing the mighty fall, it's sad but i remember being a teenager stanning madonna and wishing gaga would stop smashing as well so .. it (should) change(s) with age i guess :skull:

ot: i still play this album daily, already my 5th most played album ever (5,557 plays), incredible longevity and i still play it as a whole (besides question) bc it still sounds so fresh :heart2:

racoon might be the best nick for a song :ahh: i almost spat my water, great track

and labyrinth is the one that has grown on my the most tbh

Basically. You can't be the biggest name and expect the rest to sit around you and applaud. It doesn't work like that. If you are a big fan of someone you'd want your fav to be the most succesful and that implies going against the one at the top every time you can. That's why men have it easier than women in this industry, usually they don't have cults behind tearing each other down.

It's so obvious she is the main target. There were many questionable choices in that RS list yet she's got the most attention :deadbanana2:

About that RS list

When evermore was released a really famous italian music critic well know to be rhat kind of "terrible music critic everyone is afraid of"wrote he wasn't really convinced by taylor switch to indie music and the operation wasn't 100% successfull for him but he wrote "it's one of the most well sung singer songwrtier album i ever heard, her vocals in some song are mesmerizing".

So... that list it's clearly not about the best high notes, it's about the best singers of their own material. Only Bob dylan can sing bob dylan songs and the songs having THAT meaning, even if his voice is overall kind of weak. For me this is absolutely the same for miss TS.
