still haven’t listened yet. does she have any big vocal moments on this? any high notes that are gonna make me ascend or is it pretty monotone

that's a pretty good question. that's what i miss the most on her. she's so used to her normal range, i miss the high notes so much

Many big vocal moments. Whitney Houston possessed her on this record

The Mariah whistle notes and belt resonance she served on the last track did surprise me though

All the switchers try to rationalize their switching by saying the album grew on them ???

For anyone who hasn't heard the album yet and is worried by this comment, I'd like to clarify that Taylor is serving peak Mariah vocals, not current Mariah

Girl... just leave the thread and seek help already... nearly every single post or thread of yours for the past few days has been something negative about Taylor Swift. It is serving obsession and makes you seem not well  :deadbanana2:

OT: Can't wait to get a real impression with the high quality audio tonight :matty:

the people who are saying this album is good are swifties who have force fed the album to themselves 20+ times

The only songs that are listenable/interesting on first listen are Midnight Rain & Lavender Haze, and these don't even compare to the rest of her discography

Or maybe, just maybe, people can have different opinions than you? :isudumblmao: I swear to god...

Current Mariah would still be a dream scenario considering how this album’s vocals turned out

What’s the point of force-feeding yourself music you don’t enjoy. that doesn’t make you a “good stan.”

I'm really curious to see the reception and its success level when released. I wonder if it will grow on everyone else or I'm just delusional.

I still can't get over the absolute disrespect that is Snow on the Beach. This woman has been praising Lana for years only to give her a "feature" of backing vocals that are barely audible :rip: I like the album, but girl...
