Question re: Nicki’s compilation, how does SEA count for this? Like do the streams of the songs from their original album count towards it? Asking as I can’t imagine anyone bothering to purchase that in the streaming era.

Is Super Freaky Girl on it? That can explain why it's "selling"

Why are y’all trying to drag a compilation album without a single new song :rip:

Posted

Seems like we're entering a new "Greatest Hits" era.

A GH rollout would be absolutely huge for Rihanna or Britney if they decide to come back.

kinda wanted more numbers for Queen Radio but compilation albums these days are poor sellers. Top 10 at least

It's a greatest hits compilation that dropped out of nowhere with no new music. Y'all try so hard to be funny just to fall flat.

Anyone dragging nicki's numbers is a troll, very good nubers for a compilation album, that said, the album contains Super Freaky Girl, the current Billboard Hot 100 n.1, what I consider new and hit music

not the ONH coming for a compilation album with some +10YEARS old SONG

I think after The Weeknd people realize it's smarter to do because some albums won't get recertified so why not get a "new" album certified based on older hits.

The Weeknd did it, then Eminem and others will do it and I say as long as it's clear the label has given the catalog all of its certification updates then from the GH release on let the streams go to that album and get another gold or platinum

WAIT A MINUTE the Latin erasure...PitBull did it a couple of years ago and that's why his album was able to chart because those other hit songs were giving it charting points.

So Pitbull the trendsetter:ducky:

DJ always wins...all he does is win. He claimed it.

I'm going to keep it positive and not make remarks in my head for now.:gaycat:

Ummm... Beyoncé's Homecoming did 38K (in two days) and The Gift did 55K so this number is pretty bad tbh. If Beyoncé can get dragged with her side project and her greatest hits live album for years, so does Nicki. And also, I just checked SFG is on it :deadbanana4:

I would love a compilation album as I still buy CD and play it on my car but it must comes with booklet explaining about each song and its commercial success though.

DJ Khaled’s GOD DID (We the Best/Epic) opens at #1 this week, while Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (pgLang/TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) and Silk Sonic’s An Evening With Silk Sonic (Aftermath/Atlantic) both rebound into the Top 10 following their vinyl releases.

JYP/Imperial/Republic’s TWICE lands in the Top 5 with BETWEEN 1&2 this week. Also making their Top 15 debuts are JID’s The Forever Story (Dreamville/Interscope), Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio: Volume 1 (Republic) and Muse’s Will of the People (Warner).

Now if you’ll excuse us, it’s taco Tuesday and the margs are waiting.
