THIS is the type of song Britney should've jumped on for her re-entry. Dolly def would've changed the lyrics for her to make it a joyous song about getting back to work on her career, etc.

 

but I love Kelly so I'm excited for this :clap3:

not a fan of Dolly's parts but Kelly's voice is as beautiful as ever

I... have no idea what they've done to Dolly's voice but aside from that, this is a really great take on the song. Like the night time drive home version to the peppy upbeat morning vibe of the original.

I guess I appreciate its not a straight copy but…I think I would have preferred it with a fun song like this

Is it just me or did they update the Audio for Dolly’s part on 9 to 5 for the duet? Sounds so much better. On Spotify

not quite sure but i think it sounds a little less weird on spotify now indeed

i would prefer a solo version of just Kelly's vocals
