this was clearly the best episode, it did exactly what the last of us does best. it told a story about the human connection yet its about to be the lowest rated episode of the 3.

on imdb 13% rated episode three 1/10 whereas the previous two episodes didn't even have 1% of people rate the episode a 1/10.

we already know why that is but i'd love it if hbo works overtime and makes imdb take down the troll votes i'm pretty sure amazon did something similar for the lord of the rings

That was cute. I knew where it was goin from the moment they met and I fully expected to get emotional because I'm a romantic. but it didn't happen. The dialogues were too weak unfortunately, it didn't quite land with me.

It's a shame because the actors were wonderful. God I love Murray Bartlett, ever since "Looking" I stan everything he does and Ron swanson surprised me.

Still the best episode of the 3 and I really appreciate the show for doing this and making the homophobes seethe. Their tears is my vitamin.

Hope the homophobes stay fuming :clap3:

Most of these straggots who are homophobic are only homophobic when it includes men. They can’t take their smegma infested dicks out of their hands long enough to realise what they’re jerking off to, is still in fact gay porn.

True, and it's ridiculous. I know so many men that love to penetrate their wifes/gf's analy. It's exciting and turns them on. I mean, anal porn in the straight section of a porn site is always extremely popular. Let alone lesbian porn.

But when guys do it with each other? OH NO!!

There has been queer representation of TLOU since the get go, idk what these losers were expecting :rip:

There’s been gay people in TLOU for 10 years… what game have they been playing :bibliahh:

The incels pretending they wanted a shot-for-shot recreation of the game thinking we don't realize that they just hated that it was a gay storyline :dies:  The way they always lose is such a kii

It makes me laugh reading the comments about things being forced down people’s throats. First of all, you’re not being forced to watch the show and second of all, did you complain watching GOT when you saw **** flopping around every two seconds? Because if you’re going to clutch your pearls because of a sex scene, you better keep that same energy when women are involved. :bird:

It’s just so weird how they accept that gay men exist, but expect them to not be shown in any form of media. I really wish the internet didn’t learn the word ‘woke’ as it gets thrown around so much it’s lost all meaning. What about this episode was woke? It was simply about two HUMANS connecting. How is that so wrong?

I haven't seen the episode yet but in the game, you only find out about the relationship through dialogue and reading a note/letter that you find. So I guess that's when gay characters are "acceptable" for toxic gamer bros, when they're just a footnote and nothing else. Anything more than that and it's "The Woke Of Us!!!! Stop shoving politics in my face!!!"

Having said that, there's an entire DLC that focuses on LGBT characters and their relationship, and the season 1 trailer suggests that there will be an episode for that DLC too, so :skull: Like what exactly were they expecting here? :skull:

That was one of the most unexpected, beautiful and moving episodes of television I've seen in a very long time. Probably since one of those absolutely legendary mid-series episodes of Game of Thrones when those long built up and developed moments were paid off.

Long Long Time better have a mini Running Up the Hill success :jonny5:
