slik Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 This episode left me an emotional wreck Nick Offerman better get an Emmy nom for this
Carter Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 oh damn i’ve never sobbed at show/movie like this before.
Daniel767 Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Nah this is AMAZING .. the acting, the writing EVERYTHING

Plus I want the scene of her reading the magazines in the car I was wrong. The changes were phenomenal and so well-done. One of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen. Emmy's should be won off this alone.
popmusicisdead Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 great episode. although i prefer how Bill and Frank ended up in the game . also they need to stop using On The Nature of Daylight for everything
FailSafe Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 So I was right about Ellie and Joel not meeting Bill and Frank. Great episode, just as strong as its game counter part.
cloudbusting Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 don’t think I’ve ever been so emotionally devastated by television before
flower moon Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 wow. that was kinda perfect. goals even. wish they'd have met again but still, what an episode.
Weld_E Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I did not expect to weep this much watching a show like The Last of Us The acting was incredible, the score was amazing, and some of the dialogue was so poetic.
Venom Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 WTF WAS THAT EPISODE?!!!! I mean that in a good way obviously. It was so good! I felt like the world stood still for that entire hour.
cloudbusting Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 okay now that I’m done sobbing I’m remembering some of the stuff earlier in the episode Spoiler It’s crazy to me how something as simple as forgetting the pancake mix or turning down biscuits & cookies from the neighbors saved Joel and Sarah from the initial infection. The way they connected that with the flashback to Indonesia in the previous episode was so good because it’s easy to forget with the more intense events later in both. I need to catch up on the companion podcast too, but it’s so late rn
mystery Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I really didn't expect to cry during this episode but they got me. Jesus what an excellent performance from both actors.
HabbGaga Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 this episode was beautiful. loved it more than the game

BNF91 Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Masterful. Spoiler Their marriage means so much. To them, it wasn't legal yet when the world went to ****.
Hephaestus Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 My God, this f*cking episode... I need some time to process it because it was too much
