I feel like marriage will die off with Gen Z. It’s all just ceremonial now. There’s happily committed couples with kids that don’t need a government license to mandate their relationship.

This is how it’s done. Some girls should take notes instead using their wedding as some publicity stunt or attention seeking.

I agree there is no need to get married to prove love, but then why get engaged? :deadbanana4:

Well it was so long ago that maybe they had plans in the beginning, but later they just decided it was a hustle and no point in it

dont you need to be married to get certain spousal benefits tho

Marriage sometimes ruins the relationship, especially if you are wealthy or moderately rich. You have to protect yourself to no be ruined by your ex.

The only advantage of marriage are that taxes are more convenient and there’s spousal benefits.

It's not that easy. Marriage is usually good for tax reasons, for the ability of both parents to have equal rights when it comes to their children, etc..

When ur longterm boyfriend is sick in the hospital or had severe accident, as a partner, you wouldn't have any rights to visit him right off the bat. As the husband however, things look differently.

Until these things aren't changed, marriage will definitely stay intact.

Baby you have to understand, some want to do it one more time, even tho the first time was toxic and just criminal. If the man is born to make you happy, then why not. Do iT

The shade difference in her face and neck/chest area in that photo is killing me. :rip:

OT: they’ve been engaged for literally a decade now, they’re obviously happy how they are.

‘They Don’t Need a Document to Prove Their Love’

LOL do whatever floats their boat but I cringe whenever grown adults say flippant stuff like this about marriage, especially those "forever" engaged types. It's not just a "document", it doesn't even have to be a religious ceremony if you don't want it to be but there are a whole HEAP of legal benefits afforded to married couples, especially if they have children. It's the main reason people have fought, protested and died to be able to marry should they choose to.

lol Xtina is the breadwinner but she doesn't have to divide any fortune of hers with him if she has an ironclad prenup in place.

Sounds like Xtina wanted the rock to prove she could get it, but doesn't want to risk her fortune over him.

Now now, Christina's fiancé isn't some escort model, he has a respectable job as a Executive Vice President at MasterClass.
