The two blonde Australians were famously friends in the 90s while Nicole was an international acting superstar whereas Naomi was struggling in B-movies. Then of course Naomi had her breakthrough with the ICONIC Mulholland Drive one of the best films of all time for which she was ROBBED of an Oscar nomination

Did Naomi kind of end Nicole's filmography? I mean let's look at the evidence:

 

- Mulholland Drive (widely considered by critics one of the masterpieces of all cinema)

- The Ring (ICONIC)

- 21 Grams (Best Actress nomination)

- King Kong (Iconic, ended the other King Kongs, the Captain Marvel girl could never)

- The Painted Veil (cute)

- Eastern Promises (Cronenberg, Viggo Mortensen, gutsy and dark)

- The Impossible (Best Actress nomination)

- Diana

- Birdman (BP winner)

We love both icons but Naomi is severely underrated. She absolutely deserved to be nommed and win Best Actress for Mulholland Drive (indisputably the best film of ALL time). And she’s a legend for The Ring, pretentious horror fans can fume but it’s honestly the most iconic American horror movie released this century

It absolutely is, The Ring is truly ICONIC and its impact is just.... THE defining horror film for the millennial generation. "7 days" is so iconic. Climbing out the TV. The Scary Movie 3 parody.

the thing is Nicole Kidman's name is also a box office draw to some degree whereas Naomi's isn't. Like you watch Naomi for the performance quality and then you watch Nicole for the big hit films and occasionally for the performance quality. This is how I observe the two personally.

girl I aint got time to sift through their filmography but I think Nicole has been in more box office hits no? At least she gives off more star power which makes me think so. That said, acting quality Naomi >>>>>>> Nicole. 

Both are good but Naomi is just sensational. 

 

Cate's overall career destroys both though both critically and box office wise

Well I mean I do know few ppl, myself included, who will go ans watch Kidman movie just bcs she is in it, could not say the same for the other aussie
