Well, he is still on tour and his fans are digesting the album as a whole so he will probably keep pulling at least 50-75k for a LONG time. Honestly, as someone that grew up in the 90s, I’m 33 now, Ive always been skeptical of streaming and it’s impact on the charts because I think that downloading or buying a physical album, is a more legitimate way to estimate not only sales but revenue, but Bad Bunny has changed my mind. He is breaking all kinds of records while not releasing music in English. That is impressive. It shows that there is a market not only for music in Spanish, but for Latin consumers as well. Streaming really has democratized the charts which is cool. Also, the fact that the album has so many different songs, it really is a pleaser for a lot of people. End rant lol
Harry Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 should we be worried about Renaissance these # are not good for the amount of promo it’s getting

I thought you were going to come up with something interesting, not this pedestrian level trolling. Come on.

Billboard or calendar 2022 Morgan is almost certainly not catching Adele either for the Billboard year end

So he will be #1 on both year-end charts (calendar year and Billboard year)
Green Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 So far it looks like the year-end album charts will be: Billboard Year: 1. Bad Bunny 2. Adele 3. Morgan Calendar Year: 1. Bad Bunny 2. Morgan 3. Harry

Many albums in the top 10 have solid #1 and top 10 hits that are selling 20k to 50k and it hasn't even been 6 months for many of them. Morgan has the oldest album and he's a racist.

At what point in recent memory has there not been a market for music in Spanish music let alone Latin consumers, especially in North America?

I’m pretty sure they meant the public is now more aware of how big (and popular) the market for Latin music and artists has become in the past few years thanks to streaming and Benito breaking all these records. Like, Bad Bunny having all these weeks at #1 with sales of over 100k units every week is unprecedented
