“We have to have more and more attention and frankly political power to fight this antisemitism. And to understand how to fight it and to have the people in Congress in particular who can talk to the left, which is the progressives, and keep them pro-Israel…. A Jewish member of Congress who has the three positions that I have [including Judiciary chairmanship] and has the ability to work with the progressives… has shown the ability and the willingness to use the resources to prevent BDS from getting a foothold on the left.”

BDS is (aside from the support it gets from Western college students on social media) mostly ran and financed by bona fide terrorist organization and seeks to erase Israel from existence, so good for him

This. OP is a CCP and Putin supporter. Of course he doesn’t care about who’s behind the antisemetic BDS campaign.

Right... Literally this is not the drag think they think it is...

Framing not supporting formal boycott, divestment, and sanctions of an entire nation is not the same as "brag[ging] about not supporting Palestinian people." Do better than posting inflammatory content that only hurts chances of productive conversation

The USA is not ever going to not support Israel. It's just not going to happen. BDS is not going to happen. It just won't.

And Netanyahu was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by several international politicians. What now? Do you have any arguments besides appealing to authority?

Considering Obama was a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for “not being Bush” and then went on to kill hundreds of thousands of brown civilians in drone strikes, I think that brings down the credibility of the Nobel Peace Prize quite a lot. :shakeno:

Obama administration on its way out abstained on a UN Security Council resolution against Israel, thus insuring it would pass. It was the first time over 40 years a UNSC resolution rebuking Israel passed. And then it was a joint condemnation of both sides concerning violations of the crease fire from the end of the Yom Kippur War of 1973.

That’s the point honey :rip: “Person x received a peace prize for something” is not exactly a convincing argument

The entire concept of claiming a non-violent movement of protest is "funded by terrorists" is quite literally rooted in the social construction of authority where you just agree to whoever the USA deems a terrorist org. :toofunny3:

No country in the world murders as many people as the US does. Why am I going to listen to who it deems terrorists?

Also you know what you're doing as a right-winger trying to frame BDS supporters as "Western college students" - the entire BDS movement is literally aimed at those in *Western* countries who fund Israeli society and whose governments won't sanction the apartheid state for its crime against humanity.

"BDS is largely supported Westerners" - no ****, ******* Sherlock, it's a demand from Palestinians for Westerners to hold their countries funding Israel accountable. :deadbanana4:
