Wildest Dreams' video is based on old romance films, that's what Joseph Kahn said himself (it's also based on nostalgic colonialism but that's another story). This is just another example of the same source of inspiration.

This is the second time wildest dreams MV is copied :coffee:. One of the best MVs of the last decade.

And the oth running in here as usual :deadbanana2: the MV is about the making of a movie, and it's obviously copied here.

Um? If anything it reminded me more of Roar than Wildest Dreams. :rip:

And this concept has been done before :skull:

It can't be copied if it's not original. :deadbanana2:

First example that came to mind was Lucky by Britney but there are many more

It's set in the 50s and they're wearing the exact same outfits... The sets are the same, the scene in the bed is the same...

A music video about the making of a movie is not a Taylor concept, which is what you implied in your first post.

And no the outfits and landscape aren't even remotely the same. :skull:

A music video about the making of a movie set in the 50s with co stars falling in love and having an affair in a tent is a Taylor concept.

They're wearing safari outfits and it's set in an exotic location.

The way you oth will twist yourselves into a pretzel just to undermine Taylor's influence is very weird.

When you're "no impact" and "local" but even singers from Brazil are copy-pasting your MVs.

what about this video suggests the 1950s? has anyone ever watched a film from the 1950s? Is it... because she's wearing gloves?

The clapperboard that reads 12/7/1952
