Not surprised ATRL is already trying to downplay these numbers. These are amazing numbers these days. :clap3: I don't think any female artist has debuted with higher after they stopped counting bundles, sans Taylor and Adele. The fact that Bey could do around Sour's debut (295k) is amazing.

Nobody in the Hive with braincells thinks Bey is commercially bigger than Taylor :rip:. Everyone knows only Taylor could pull off this re-recording ish.

I think they're still bitter that none of Taylor's albums have reached the success and acclaim of 21 & 25.

Why is everyone pretending like this is excellent? It's not a complete bomb but it's still nothing to really brag about

:rip: Bey debuted in 1997. The only one keeping up with these numbers is Eminem and ONLY him aka the biggest rapper alive.

This just further proves that she IS indeed what the media portrays her to be. She's about to have the #1 album (and maybe #1 single) in the US and UK and an opening week close to or above 300k. Even Madonna was declining strongly at that point in her career (shortly before the MDNA era).

Not you Hiding with Adele whos latest album is about to leave the top 100 :deadbanana4:

1 single. Zero videos. Zero live performances. The way she always wins without any tricks or games :clap3:

Eek. I don't really follow sales these days, but this is dismal. I'm shocked!

Rihanna can easily surpass this when she release.

How would you know dismal if you don't even follow sales?

It’s clear you don’t follow them. This is shaping to be the 2nd biggest debut of the year behind Harry Styles

nice numbers. :clap3:

I really love this album and hope it can pull off some longevity.

I don’t think HDD has access to her website sales ?

The fact that she’s doing all of this almost completely solo with no features, no music videos, no performances, experimenting new sounds, and in her 4th decade is great :clap3: The people that want to see her fail, convince themselves any of this is an underperformance is running on misogyny and microagressions I fear. I just hope she serves us greatness at the VMAs with a second single released that same weekend, she’ll really depend on that to sustain longevity. A music video would be nice too :monkey:

She was releasing Hard Candy and was on a 400M grossing tour, stop lying :rip:

After 20+ years in the industry, this is impressive :clap3:

I said at least half of what Lemonade did.

I think these figures are solid but conservative. Supposedly physicals in Target have pick up. And do the boxes count?

Hard Candy and MDNA have like 3-4 years inbetween, which isn't much if you look at the bigger picture (25-30 years).

SO extra :rip:

Anyways, GREAT numbers and the haters are already out of their minds :rip:

And with 1000000 writers. Seeing this album writing credits is such a pain.

Re-read my post sweetie, I did not include 30 in my post. My statement regarding Taylor not having any albums reaching the acclaim and success of 21 & 25 remains accurate. :gaycat5: That is peak success that Taylor hasn't/won't reach. :gaycat5:
